Information processing system, storage medium, and information processing method

Abstract

A first content is generated and arranged in a virtual space based on a first input performed by a first user, and data of the first content is associated with the first user. A location of the first content arranged in the virtual space is updated based on a second input performed by a second user, and data of the first content is associated with the first user and the second user. An action is executed on the first content based on a third input performed by a third user, and a parameter associated with the second user is updated. Privilege information indicating a state in which a privilege has been given to the second user is stored into the storage unit based on the parameter associated with the second user.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An information processing system comprising:
 one or more processors;   a server including a storage unit;   a plurality of information processing apparatuses configured to connect to the server; and   one or more memories storing a program that, when executed, causes the information processing system to perform, based on users' inputs performed on the plurality of information processing apparatuses, operations including:
 generating and arranging a first content in a virtual space based on a first input performed by a first user, and storing data of the first content into the storage unit in association with the first user; 
 updating a location of the first content arranged in the virtual space based on a second input performed by a second user different from the first user, and storing data of the first content into the storage unit in association with the first user and the second user; 
 executing an action on the first content based on a third input performed by a third user different from the second user, updating a parameter associated with the second user, and storing the parameter into the storage unit; and 
 storing, into the storage unit, privilege information indicating a state in which a privilege has been given to the second user, based on the parameter associated with the second user. 
   
     
     
         2 . The information processing system according to  claim 1 , wherein
 further, when the location of the first content arranged in the virtual space is updated based on a fourth input performed by the first user, so that the location of the first content is updated based on the fourth input, data of the first content is stored into the storage unit in association with the first user.   
     
     
         3 . The information processing system according to  claim 1 , wherein
 further, an action of a player character relating to each of the users is controlled based on an input performed by the user.   
     
     
         4 . The information processing system according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the action is executed on one of a plurality of the first contents.   
     
     
         5 . The information processing system according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the privilege causes the second user to transition from a state in which generation of a specific one of the first contents is limited to a state in which the specific one of the first contents is allowed to be generated, based on a parameter associated with the second user.   
     
     
         6 . The information processing system according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the third user is different from the first user and the second user, and   further,
 when the action is executed on the first content, a parameter associated with the first user is updated and stored into the storage unit, and 
 based on the parameter associated with the first user, privilege information indicating a state in which the privilege has been given to the first user is stored into the storage unit. 
   
     
     
         7 . The information processing system according to  claim 1 , wherein
 further,
 the virtual space shared and used by the plurality of information processing apparatuses is generated based on data received from the server, 
 an object arranged in the virtual space as the first content is generated based on the first input, 
 the location of the first content in the virtual space is updated based on the second input, 
 the action on the first content in the virtual space is executed based on the third input, and 
 an action in the virtual space of a player character relating to each user is controlled based on an input performed by the user, and 
   the server stores, into the storage unit, the privilege information indicating a state in which the privilege has been given to the second user, based on the parameter associated with the second user.   
     
     
         8 . The information processing system according to  claim 1 , wherein
 further, based on a fifth input performed by a fourth user different from the second user, the location of the first content associated with the first user and the second user is updated, and data of the first content having the updated location is stored into the storage unit in association with the first user and the fourth user.   
     
     
         9 . An information processing system comprising:
 one or more processors;   a server including a storage unit;   a plurality of information processing apparatuses configured to connect to the server; and   one or more memories storing a program that, when executed, causes the information processing system to perform, based on users' inputs performed on the plurality of information processing apparatuses, operations including:
 generating and arranging a first content in a virtual space based on a first input performed by a first user, and storing data of the first content into the storage unit in association with the first user; 
 generating and arranging a second content that is a copy of the data of the first content, in the virtual space, based on a second input performed by a second user different from the first user, and storing data of the second content into the storage unit in association with the first user and the second user; 
 executing an action on the second content based on a third input performed by a third user different from the second user, updating a parameter associated with the second user, and storing the parameter into the storage unit; and 
 storing, into the storage unit, privilege information indicating a state in which a privilege has been given to the second user, based on the parameter associated with the second user. 
   
     
     
         10 . The information processing system according to  claim 9 , wherein
 further, the second content that is a copy of the data of the first content is generated and arranged in the virtual space based on a fourth input performed by the first user, and when the second content is arranged in the virtual space based on the fourth input, data of the second content is stored into the storage unit in association with the first user.   
     
     
         11 . The information processing system according to  claim 9 , wherein
 further, an action of a player character relating to each of the users is controlled based on an input performed by the user.   
     
     
         12 . The information processing system according to  claim 9 , wherein
 the action is executed on one of a plurality of the first contents and a plurality of the second contents.   
     
     
         13 . The information processing system according to  claim 9 , wherein
 the privilege causes the second user to transition from a state in which generation of a specific one of the first contents is limited to a state in which the specific one of the first contents is allowed to be generated, based on the parameter associated with the second user.   
     
     
         14 . The information processing system according to  claim 9 , wherein
 the third user is different from the first user and the second user, and   further,
 when the action is executed on the first content or the second content, a parameter associated with the first user is updated and stored into the storage unit, and 
 based on the parameter associated with the first user, privilege information indicating a state in which the privilege has been given to the first user is stored into the storage unit. 
   
     
     
         15 . The information processing system according to  claim 9 , wherein
 further,
 the virtual space shared and used by the plurality of information processing apparatuses is generated based on data received from the server, 
 an object arranged in the virtual space as the first content is generated based on the first input, 
 the second content in the virtual space is generated based on the second input, 
 the action on the first content in the virtual space is executed based on the third input, and 
 an action in the virtual space of a player character relating to each user is controlled based on a fourth input performed by the user, and 
   the server stores, into the storage unit, the privilege information indicating a state in which the privilege has been given to the second user, based on the parameter associated with the second user.   
     
     
         16 . The information processing system according to  claim 9 , wherein
 further, based on a fifth input performed by a fourth user different from the second user, a third content that is a copy of the data of the second content associated with the first user and the second user is generated, and data of the generated third content is stored into the storage unit in association with the first user and the fourth user.   
     
     
         17 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having stored therein a program that, when executed, causes one or more processors of one of a plurality of information processing apparatuses configured to connect to a server, to execute information processing comprising:
 obtaining data of a first content generated based on another user's input, and arranging the first content in the virtual space;   updating a location of the first content arranged in the virtual space based on an input performed by a user of the information processing apparatus;   based on the updating of the location of the first content, generating data for transmitting, to the server, at least data indicating that the location of the first content has been updated by the user;   when an action based on another user's input is performed on the first content whose location has been updated by the user, updating a parameter related to the user; and   executing a process according to the parameter.   
     
     
         18 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having stored therein a program that, when executed, causes one or more processors of one of a plurality of information processing apparatuses configured to connect to a server, to execute information processing comprising:
 obtaining data of a first content generated based on another user's input, and arranging the first content in the virtual space;   generating and arranging a second content that is a copy of the data of the first content, in the virtual space, based on an input performed by a user of the information processing apparatus;   based on the generation of data of the second content, generating data for transmitting, to the server, at least data indicating that the data of the second content has been generated by the user;   when an action based on another user's input is performed on the second content generated by the user, updating a parameter related to the user; and   executing a process according to the parameter.   
     
     
         19 . An information processing method for causing one or more processors of an information processing system to at least:
 generate and arrange a first content in a virtual space based on a first input performed by a first user, and store data of the first content into a storage unit in association with the first user;   update a location of the first content arranged in the virtual space based on a second input performed by a second user different from the first user, and store data of the first content into the storage unit in association with the first user and the second user;   execute an action on the first content based on a third input performed by a third user different from the second user, update a parameter associated with the second user, and store the parameter into the storage unit; and   store, into the storage unit, privilege information indicating a state in which a privilege has been given to the second user, based on the parameter associated with the second user.   
     
     
         20 . An information processing method for causing one or more processors of an information processing system to at least:
 generate and arrange a first content in a virtual space based on a first input performed by a first user, and store data of the first content into a storage unit in association with the first user;   generate and arrange a second content that is a copy of the data of the first content, in the virtual space, based on a second input performed by a second user different from the first user, and store data of the second content into the storage unit in association with the first user and the second user;   execute an action on the second content based on a third input performed by a third user different from the second user, update a parameter associated with the second user, and store the parameter into the storage unit; and   store, into the storage unit, privilege information indicating a state in which a privilege has been given to the second user, based on the parameter associated with the second user.
