Container assembly

Abstract

A container assembly is configured to maintain a predetermined moisture in a container for storing a product, where the container assembly includes a container with an upper container opening and a closed base, a stopper with a central hole passing through the stopper and a chamber formed by a peripheral wall, an upper wall with a central hole and a lower perforated base wall, where the chamber is connected to the stopper and a substance is arranged in the chamber, and where an inflow of ambient air moves through the central holes of the stopper and the chamber and causes the substance to give off water, wherein the water passes through the lower perforated base wall of the chamber.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A container assembly configured to maintain a predetermined moisture in a container for storing a product, the container assembly comprising:
 a container including a chamber;   a stopper with a central hole;   the chamber formed by a peripheral wall, an upper wall and a bottom wall, the chamber including a central hole and a lower perforated base wall between the upper wall and the bottom wall, wherein the chamber is connected to the stopper and a substance is arranged in the chamber, wherein an inflow of ambient air moves through the central holes of the stopper and the chamber and causes the substance to give off water, wherein the water passes through the lower perforated base wall of the chamber.   
     
     
         2 . The container assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the chamber is fastened to the underside of the stopper. 
     
     
         3 . The container assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the stopper and the chamber are connected together by a connecting piece, which extends through the central holes of the stopper and the chamber and is fastened to the wall of the chamber or to the underside of the stopper. 
     
     
         4 . The container assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the substance is a mixture of sodium bicarbonate and citric acid. 
     
     
         5 . The container assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the substance is hydrogen peroxide. 
     
     
         6 . The container assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the substance is lithium hydroxide. 
     
     
         7 . The container assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the substance is a hydrogel based on polyvinyl alcohol or sodium alginate. 
     
     
         8 . The container assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the substance is in powder form. 
     
     
         9 . The container assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the substance is used in liquid form. 
     
     
         10 . The container assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the substance is incorporated in polyvinyl alcohol or in a hydrogen or in sodium alginate. 
     
     
         11 . A container assembly configured to maintain a predetermined moisture in a container for storing a product, the container assembly comprising:
 a container including a chamber, the chamber including an upper wall, a bottom wall and a peripheral wall extending between the upper wall and the bottom wall and a central hole formed in the upper wall, the chamber including a perforated base wall;   a stopper with a central hole that is aligned with the central hole of the chamber,   wherein the chamber is connected to the stopper and a substance is arranged in the chamber, wherein an inflow of ambient air moves through the central holes of the stopper and the chamber and causes the substance to give off water, wherein the water passes through the lower perforated base wall of the chamber,   wherein the chamber is fastened to an underside of the stopper,   wherein the central holes of the stopper and the chamber are connected together by a connecting tube, and   wherein the connecting tube is fastened to the upper wall of the chamber or to an underside of the stopper.   
     
     
         12 . The container assembly of  claim 11 , wherein the substance is a mixture of sodium bicarbonate and citric acid. 
     
     
         13 . The container assembly of  claim 11 , wherein the substance is hydrogen peroxide. 
     
     
         14 . The container assembly of  claim 11 , wherein the substance is lithium hydroxide. 
     
     
         15 . The container assembly of  claim 11 , wherein the substance is a hydrogel based on polyvinyl alcohol or sodium alginate. 
     
     
         16 . The container assembly of  claim 11 , wherein the substance is in powder form. 
     
     
         17 . The container assembly of  claim 11 , wherein the substance is used in liquid form.
