Lighter Housing

Abstract

A lighter housing for a lighter unit includes a bottom housing and a top housing. The bottom housing defines an interior chamber for accommodating the lighter unit. The top housing is above the lighter unit and connected to the bottom housing. A plurality of convex elements are periodically arranged on and extending from an exterior face of the lighter housing, and a plurality of concave cells are defined among the plurality of the convex elements.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A lighter housing for a lighter unit comprising:
 a bottom housing defining an interior chamber for accommodating the lighter unit; and   a top housing above the lighter unit and connected to the bottom housing;   wherein a plurality of convex elements are periodically arranged on and extending from an exterior face of the lighter housing, and a plurality of concave cells are defined among the plurality of the convex elements.   
     
     
         2 . The lighter housing of  claim 1 , wherein a pitch between two of the convex elements is between 6 mm and 10 mm. 
     
     
         3 . The lighter housing of  claim 1 , wherein the convex elements have a width of between 4 mm and 5 mm along the external face. 
     
     
         4 . The lighter housing of  claim 1 , wherein the convex elements have a height of between 1 mm and 3 mm extending from the exterior face. 
     
     
         5 . The lighter housing of  claim 1 , wherein the convex elements have a symmetrical shape. 
     
     
         6 . The lighter housing of  claim 1 , wherein the convex elements are arranged in a rectangular matrix. 
     
     
         7 . The lighter housing of  claim 1 , wherein the exterior face includes a top face on the top housing. 
     
     
         8 . The lighter housing of  claim 1 , wherein the exterior face includes a side face on the bottom housing. 
     
     
         9 . The lighter housing of  claim 1 , further comprising a locking accessory that can be detachably secured to both the top housing and the bottom housing by the convex element and the concave cell, wherein the locking accessory can lock and prevent the top housing from moving. 
     
     
         10 . The lighter housing of  claim 9 , further comprising a pivoting mechanism secured to the bottom housing and the top housing such that the top housing can pivot about the bottom housing when the locking accessory is removed.
