Portable Vacuum Cleaner
Abstract
Systems and methods are provided for a portable vacuum that comprises a vacuum body, a vacuum canister, and a vacuum hose. The vacuum body includes a motor and a fan for providing suction. The vacuum canister is attachable to the vacuum body. The vacuum hose is attachable to the vacuum canister and configured to receive a suction from the motor and fan through the vacuum canister. The vacuum body further includes one or more magnets disposed within or adjacent to a concave hose-receiving portion of the vacuum body. The vacuum hose further includes one or more metallic portions that are configured for attaching the one or more magnets to secure at least a portion of the vacuum hose within the concave hose-receiving portion of the vacuum body.

1 . A portable vacuum comprising:
a vacuum body including a motor and a fan for providing suction; a vacuum canister attachable to the vacuum body; a vacuum hose attachable to the vacuum canister and configured to receive suction from the motor and fan through the vacuum canister, the vacuum body further including one or more magnets disposed within or adjacent to a concave hose-receiving portion of the vacuum body, and the vacuum hose further including one or more metallic portions that are configured for attaching to the one or more magnets to secure at least a portion of the vacuum hose within the concave hose-receiving portion of the vacuum body.
2 . The portable vacuum of claim 1 , wherein the vacuum body further includes a mechanical attachment portion that is configured to mechanically connect at least a portion of the vacuum hose to the vacuum body.
3 . The portable vacuum of claim 2 , wherein the vacuum hose includes a hose inlet having an extended portion for connecting to the mechanical attachment portion of the vacuum body.
4 . The portable vacuum of claim 3 , wherein the mechanical attachment portion and the extended portion of the hose inlet are configured to secure the vacuum hose with at least a portion of the hose inlet extended beyond a front side of the vacuum body for use in a one-handed operation of the portable vacuum.
5 . The portable vacuum of claim 1 , further comprising a rechargeable battery within the vacuum body that is configured to power the motor.
6 . The portable vacuum of claim 5 , further comprising a charging port for receiving power to charge the rechargeable battery.
7 . The portable vacuum of claim 6 , wherein the charging port is an input/output (I/O) USB-C charging port.
8 . The portable vacuum of claim 1 , the vacuum body further comprising a release button, the vacuum canister detachable from the vacuum body when the release button is pressed.
9 . The portable vacuum of claim 1 , wherein the vacuum canister is transparent.
10 . The portable vacuum of claim 1 , the vacuum body further comprising a vacuum filter configured to filter air received through the vacuum hose.
11 . The portable vacuum of claim 1 , wherein the vacuum filter includes an outer filter and an inner filter.
12 . A portable vacuum comprising:
a vacuum body including a motor and a fan for providing suction; a vacuum canister attachable to the vacuum body; a vacuum hose attachable to the vacuum canister and configured to receive suction from the motor and fan through the vacuum canister, the vacuum body having a concave hose-receiving portion configured to secure at least a portion of the vacuum hose to the vacuum body during a one-handed operation of the portable vacuum, and at least a portion of the vacuum hose movable with respect to the vacuum body in a two-handed operation of the portable vacuum.
13 . The portable vacuum of claim 12 , the vacuum body further including one or more magnets disposed within or adjacent to the concave hose-receiving portion, the one or more metallic magnets configured for attaching to one or more metallic portions of the vacuum hose to secure the vacuum hose to the vacuum body in the one-handed operation.
14 . The portable vacuum of claim 12 , wherein vacuum canister is attachable to a top side of the vacuum body and the concave hose-receiving portion is on a bottom side of the vacuum body.
15 . The portable vacuum of claim 12 , the vacuum body further including one or more vents.
16 . The portable vacuum of claim 12 , further comprising a hose inlet attachable to an end of the vacuum hose, the hose inlet extending beyond a front end of the vacuum body during the one-handed operation.
17 . The portable vacuum of claim 16 , the vacuum hose configured to wrap around a back end of the vacuum body during the one-handed operation.
18 . The portable vacuum of claim 12 , the vacuum body further comprising a release button, the vacuum canister detachable from the vacuum body when the release button is pressed.
19 . The portable vacuum of claim 12 , further comprising a rechargeable battery within the vacuum body that is configured to power the motor.
