Abstract

A beanbag target game has a game board having at least two opposing bars defining an aperture between them and at least one beanbag. The beanbag is sized to be effectively no wider than the width of the slots on the target board so that when the beanbag contacts the wings of two opposing bars, both wings flex inward while exerting a capturing force on the beanbag in between the two bars.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A beanbag target game comprising:
 a. a game board having at least two opposing bars defining an aperture between them; and b. at least one beanbag adapted to be captured in said aperture.

2 . The beanbag target game of claim 1 wherein said bars comprise a bar tip and at least one wing, and wherein targets slot are defined between adjacent bar tips.

3 . The beanbag target game of claim 2 wherein said wings comprise a flat portion extending from a first end downwardly from said bar tip, and a curved portion at a second end of said flat portion, said curved portion terminating in a wing tip.

4 . The beanbag target game of claim 3 wherein said wings are elastically deformable.

5 . The beanbag target game of claim 4 wherein each bar further comprises a bar vertical support extending downwardly from said bar tip, and wherein each wing elastically deforms toward said vertical support when a beanbag is received in said aperture.

6 . The beanbag target game of claim 5 wherein said target slots are approximately 70 mm in width and said aperture is approximately 20.5 mm in width.

         7 . A beanbag target game comprising:
 a. a game board having at least two opposing bars defining an aperture between them; and b. at least one beanbag adapted to be captured in said aperture, wherein said beanbag has fill with a density of approximately 0.55 g to 0.80 g per cubic cm, a head space of approximately of 12.7 mm to 50.8 mm, and a bead size of approximately 2 mm in diameter and approximately 3 mm to 8 mm in length.

8 . The beanbag target game of claim 7 wherein said bars comprise a bar tip and at least one wing, and wherein targets slot are defined between adjacent bar tips.

9 . The beanbag target game of claim 8 wherein said wings are elastically deformable.

10 . The beanbag target game of claim 9 wherein said wings comprise a flat portion extending from a first end downwardly from said bar tip, and a curved portion at a second end of said flat portion, said curved portion terminating in a wing tip.

11 . The beanbag target game of claim 10 wherein each bar further comprises a bar vertical support extending downwardly from said bar tip, and wherein each wing elastically deforms toward said vertical support when a beanbag is received in said aperture.

12 . The beanbag target game of claim 11 wherein said target slots are approximately 70 mm in width and said aperture is approximately 20.5 mm in width.

         13 . A beanbag target game comprising:
 a. a game board having at least two opposing bars defining an aperture between them; and b. at least one beanbag adapted to be captured in said aperture, wherein said beanbag has a width of between approximately 90% and 110% of the width said aperture.

14 . The beanbag target game of claim 13 wherein said beanbag has fill with a density of approximately 0.55 g to 0.80 g per cubic cm, a head space of approximately of 12.7 mm to 50.8mm, and a bead size of approximately 2 mm in diameter and approximately 3 mm to 8 mm in length.

15 . The beanbag target game of claim 14 wherein said bars comprise a bar tip and at least one wing, and wherein target slots are defined between adjacent bar tips.

16 . The beanbag target game of claim 15 wherein said wings comprise a flat portion extending from a first end downwardly from said bar tip, and a curved portion at a second end of said flat portion, said curved portion terminating in a wing tip.

17 . The beanbag target game of claim 16 wherein said wings are elastically deformable.

18 . The beanbag target game of claim 17 wherein each bar further comprises a bar vertical support extending downwardly from said bar tip, and wherein each wing elastically deforms toward said vertical support when a beanbag is received in said aperture.

19 . The beanbag target game of claim 18 wherein said target slots are approximately 70 mm in width and said aperture is approximately 20.5 mm in width.

20 . The beanbag target game of claim 19 wherein said curved portion has a radius of approximately 20 mm.
