Abstract

Systems, devices, and methods for delivering one or multiple materials into a body space (e.g., to occlude the body space) and/or for removing one or multiple materials from a body space (e.g., to open or reopen the body space) are described. Delivering material into the vas deferens of the male reproductive tract for contraception, removing material from the vas deferens to restore patency of the vas deferens, delivering material into the fallopian tubes of the female reproductive tract for contraception, and removing material from fallopian tubes to restore patency of the fallopian tubes is described. Confirming access to a body space is described. Agitating materials in a body space is described. Creating turbulence in a body space is described.

Claims

1 . A method of removing a first material, a second material, and/or a third material from a body lumen comprising:
 inserting a sheath into the body lumen;   inserting a probe into the body lumen;   agitating the first material in the body lumen with the probe;   irrigating the second material into the body lumen; and   removing the first material, the second material, and/or the third material from the body lumen.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein inserting the probe into the body lumen comprises advancing the probe into the body lumen an advanced distance greater than or equal to a threshold distance. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein inserting the probe into the body lumen comprises advancing the probe into the body lumen from an irrigation lumen or an aspiration lumen of the sheath. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein inserting the probe into the body lumen comprises advancing the probe into the body lumen from an irrigation lumen or an aspiration lumen of the sheath. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising confirming the sheath has access to the body lumen by inserting the probe into the body lumen. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 5 , wherein confirming the sheath has access to the body lumen by inserting the probe into the body lumen comprises advancing the probe into the body lumen an advanced distance greater than or equal to a threshold distance. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising agitating the second material in the body lumen with the probe. 
     
     
         8 . A device comprising:
 a sheath;   an irrigation lumen;   an irrigation hole;   an irrigation port   an aspiration lumen;   an aspiration hole; and   an aspiration port.   
     
     
         9 . The device of  claim 8 , wherein the sheath comprises the irrigation lumen, the irrigation hole, the aspiration lumen, and the aspiration hole. 
     
     
         10 . The device of  claim 8 , wherein the irrigation hole comprises a distal terminal opening or a side hole of the irrigation lumen, and wherein the aspiration hole comprises a distal terminal opening or a side hole of the aspiration lumen. 
     
     
         11 . The device of  claim 8 , wherein the sheath comprises a first tube and a second tube, wherein the first tube comprises the irrigation lumen and the irrigation hole, and wherein the second tube comprises the aspiration lumen and the aspiration hole. 
     
     
         12 . The device of  claim 8 , wherein the irrigation lumen is longer than the aspiration lumen, or wherein the irrigation hole is farther from a body of the device than the aspiration hole. 
     
     
         13 . The device of  claim 8 , further comprising a probe, wherein when the probe is in an advanced configuration, the probe is in the irrigation lumen or the aspiration lumen. 
     
     
         14 . The device of  claim 8 , further comprising a probe, wherein when the probe is in an advanced configuration, the probe is in the irrigation lumen or the aspiration lumen,
 wherein the sheath comprises a first tube and a second tube, wherein the first tube comprises the irrigation lumen and the irrigation hole, wherein the second tube comprises the aspiration lumen and the aspiration hole,   wherein the irrigation hole comprises a distal terminal opening or a side hole of the irrigation lumen, and   wherein the aspiration hole comprises a distal terminal opening or a side hole of the aspiration lumen.   
     
     
         15 . A method of removing a first material and/or a second material from a body space comprising:
 advancing a sheath into the body space;   confirming the sheath is in the body space by advancing a probe into the body space;   after confirming the sheath is in the body space, advancing the sheath over the probe to the first material;   delivering the second material into the body space through the sheath; and/or   removing the first material and/or the second material from the body space through the sheath.   
     
     
         16 . The method of  claim 15 , wherein advancing the sheath into the body space comprises advancing the sheath into the body space while the probe is in the sheath. 
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 15 , wherein confirming the sheath is in the body space by advancing the probe into the body space comprises advancing the probe an advanced distance into the body space, and wherein the advanced distance is greater than or equal to a threshold distance. 
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 15 , wherein the sheath comprises an irrigation lumen, an irrigation hole, an aspiration lumen, and an aspiration hole,
 wherein delivering the second material into the body space through the sheath comprises delivering the second material to the body space through the irrigation lumen and the irrigation hole, and   wherein removing the first material and/or the second material from the body space through the sheath comprises aspirating the first material and/or the second material from the body space through the aspiration hole and the aspiration lumen.   
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 15 , further comprising simultaneously delivering the second material into the body space through the sheath and removing the first material and/or the second material from the body space. 
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 15 , wherein the first material comprises hydrogel, and/or wherein the second material comprises sodium bicarbonate.
