Abstract

A bottle topper includes a top portion, the top portion having an opening therein and extending between a front side and a back side, the opening sized to receive a top of a bottle, and a bottom portion for holding a packet, the bottom portion having a first slot to receive a first end of the packet and a second slot to receive a second end of the packet, the first slot and the second slot are separated from each other along a length of the bottom portion.

What is claimed: 
     
         1 . A bottle topper comprising:
 a top portion, the top portion having an opening therein and extending between a front side and a back side, the opening sized to receive a top of a bottle; and   a bottom portion for holding a packet, the bottom portion having a first slot to receive a first end of the packet and a second slot to receive a second end of the packet, the first slot and the second slot are separated from each other along a length of the bottom portion.   
     
     
         2 . The bottle topper according to  claim 1 , wherein the bottle is a water bottle. 
     
     
         3 . The bottle topper according to  claim 1 , wherein the opening is not a circle. 
     
     
         4 . The bottle topper according to  claim 1 , wherein the opening is a circle. 
     
     
         5 . The bottle topper according to  claim 1 , further comprising scored portions around at least a portion of the opening. 
     
     
         6 . The bottle topper according to  claim 1 , further comprising a fold line that separates the top portion from the bottom portion. 
     
     
         7 . The bottle topper according to  claim 1 , wherein the top portion has a curved portion along a portion of an outside surface thereof. 
     
     
         8 . The bottle topper according to  claim 1 , wherein the slots are straight. 
     
     
         9 . The bottle topper according to  claim 1 , wherein the slots are other than straight. 
     
     
         10 . The bottle topper according to  claim 1 , further comprising a packet having one end in each of the first slot and the second slot. 
     
     
         11 . The bottle topper according to  claim 1 , disposed on a water bottle.
