Abstract

A propulsion device for a water-surface movable body includes an upper case, a propulsion motor accommodated in the upper case, a lower case supported by the upper case, a propulsor supported by the lower case, a planetary deceleration mechanism configured to decelerate rotation of the propulsion motor, a steering motor accommodated in the upper case, and a steering deceleration mechanism configured to decelerate rotation of the steering motor. The lower case includes a turning portion having a cylindrical shape, the planetary deceleration mechanism is arranged on an inner circumference of the turning portion, the lower case is supported by the upper case via an upper bearing and a lower bearing, and the steering deceleration mechanism includes a ring gear arranged between the upper bearing and the lower bearing and coupled to an outer circumferential surface of the turning portion.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A propulsion device for a water-surface movable body, comprising:
an upper case supported by a hull of the water-surface movable body; a propulsion motor accommodated in the upper case; a lower case supported by the upper case so as to turn around a turning axis; a propulsor supported by the lower case and configured to rotate around a propulsion axis by a driving force of the propulsion motor; a planetary deceleration mechanism provided on a driving force transmission path from the propulsion motor to the propulsor and configured to decelerate rotation of the propulsion motor; a steering motor accommodated in the upper case; and a steering deceleration mechanism provided on a steering force transmission path from the steering motor to the lower case and configured to decelerate rotation of the steering motor, wherein the lower case includes a turning portion having a cylindrical shape centered on the turning axis, the planetary deceleration mechanism is arranged on an inner circumference of the turning portion, the lower case is supported by the upper case via an upper bearing and a lower bearing that are arranged on an outer circumference of the turning portion, and the steering deceleration mechanism includes a ring gear arranged between the upper bearing and the lower bearing and coupled to an outer circumferential surface of the turning portion.

2 . The propulsion device for the water-surface movable body according to claim 1 , wherein the turning portion includes an enlarged diameter portion arranged above the upper bearing, a diameter of the turning portion being enlarged at the enlarged diameter portion, and
the planetary deceleration mechanism is arranged on an inner circumference of the enlarged diameter portion.

3 . The propulsion device for the water-surface movable body according to claim 2 , further comprising a refrigerant supply mechanism configured to supply a refrigerant to the planetary deceleration mechanism,
wherein the refrigerant supply mechanism is arranged lower than the enlarged diameter portion and provided on an inner circumference of the turning portion.

4 . The propulsion device for the water-surface movable body according to claim 3 , wherein the ring gear extends from a position at a same height as the refrigerant supply mechanism to a position lower than the refrigerant supply mechanism, and abuts against an upper surface of the lower bearing.

5 . The propulsion device for the water-surface movable body according to claim 1 , wherein the steering deceleration mechanism further includes:
a first gear that engages with the ring gear; and a second gear arranged coaxially with the first gear and having a larger diameter than the first gear, and a part of the second gear is arranged between the upper bearing and the lower bearing.

6 . The propulsion device for the water-surface movable body according to claim 1 , wherein the steering deceleration mechanism further includes:
a first gear that engages with the ring gear; and a second gear arranged coaxially with the first gear and having a larger diameter than the first gear, an annular recess is formed on an outer circumferential surface of the turning portion, and a part of the second gear is received in the recess.

7 . The propulsion device for the water-surface movable body according to claim 1 , wherein the upper case includes:
an upper wall; a lower wall arranged below the upper wall; and a separator arranged between the upper wall and the lower wall and partitioning an internal space of the upper case into an oil chamber and a dry chamber, the upper bearing is attached to the separator, and the lower bearing is attached to the lower wall.
