Abstract

The disclosure relates to a road paver for producing a paving layer from a paving material. The road paver comprises a screed, a transverse distribution arrangement and a pre-scraper arrangement. The screed comprises at least one base screed. The transverse distribution arrangement is adapted to distribute the paving material transversely to a drive direction of the road paver in front of the screed. The pre-scraper arrangement is arranged behind the transverse distribution arrangement in the drive direction. The pre-scraper arrangement has a height-adjustable pre-scraper blade arranged in the region of the base screed. The disclosure also relates to a method for operating a road paver.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A road paver for producing a paving layer from a paving material, comprising:
 a screed comprising a base screed;   a transverse distribution arrangement adapted to distribute the paving material transversely to a drive direction of the road paver in front of the screed; and   a pre-scraper arrangement arranged behind the transverse distribution arrangement in the drive direction, wherein the pre-scraper arrangement has a height-adjustable pre-scraper blade arranged in a region of the base screed.   
     
     
         2 . The road paver according to  claim 1 , wherein the height-adjustable pre-scraper blade is movable in height during operation of the road paver. 
     
     
         3 . The road paver according to  claim 1 , wherein the height-adjustable pre-scraper blade is attached at least indirectly to a suspension of the transverse distribution arrangement. 
     
     
         4 . The road paver according to  claim 1 , wherein the height-adjustable pre-scraper blade is attached at least indirectly to the screed. 
     
     
         5 . The road paver according to  claim 1 , wherein the height-adjustable pre-scraper blade is attached at least indirectly to the base screed of the screed. 
     
     
         6 . The road paver according to  claim 1 , wherein the height-adjustable pre-scraper blade is movable in height relative to the transverse distribution arrangement. 
     
     
         7 . The road paver according to  claim 1 , wherein the height-adjustable pre-scraper blade is movable in height relative to the screed. 
     
     
         8 . The road paver according to  claim 1 , wherein the pre-scraper arrangement is arranged substantially between the transverse distribution arrangement and the screed. 
     
     
         9 . The road paver according to  claim 1 , wherein the screed has extension screed parts, wherein the extension screed parts are arranged laterally next to the base screed, wherein front edges of the extension screed parts are arranged in front of a front edge of the base screed in the drive direction. 
     
     
         10 . The road paver according to  claim 1 , further comprising a measuring system adapted to measure a height of the paving material between the transverse distribution arrangement and the screed. 
     
     
         11 . The road paver according to  claim 1 , further comprising a control unit configured to adjust a height of the height-adjustable pre-scraper blade. 
     
     
         12 . The road paver according to  claim 1 , wherein the height-adjustable pre-scraper blade is rotatable about a rotation axis during operation of the road paver, wherein the rotation axis extends parallel to the drive direction. 
     
     
         13 . The road paver according to  claim 1 , wherein the height-adjustable pre-scraper blade is a first height-adjustable pre-scraper blade and the pre-scraper arrangement additionally comprises a second height-adjustable pre-scraper blade, wherein the second height-adjustable pre-scraper blade is arranged transversely to the drive direction next to the first height-adjustable pre-scraper blade, wherein the second height-adjustable pre-scraper blade is movable in height relative to the first height-adjustable pre-scraper blade. 
     
     
         14 . A method for operating a road paver, wherein the method comprises:
 conveying paving material against a drive direction of the road paver in front of a screed of the road paver; and   distributing the paving material in front of the screed transversely to the drive direction of the road paver by a transverse distribution arrangement;   wherein the road paver has a pre-scraper blade arranged behind the transverse distribution arrangement in the drive direction, and wherein   the pre-scraper blade is moved in height during operation of the road paver.   
     
     
         15 . The method for operating the road paver according to  claim 14 , wherein the pre-scraper blade is automatically moved in height by a control unit and/or by an operator input. 
     
     
         16 . The method for operating the road paver according to  claim 14 , further comprising measuring a height of the paving material in a region between the transverse distribution arrangement and the screed and adjusting a vertical position of the pre-scraper blade based on the measured height of the paving material.
