Suction unit with display element and suction apparatus
Abstract
A suction unit is described for a hand-held suction apparatus. The suction unit creates a suction air flow to suck up dirt particles. The suction unit has a housing with a rear wall and a hand grip arranged on the rear wall such that the hand grip and the rear wall border a cut-out for a user to arrange fingers of a hand when gripping the hand grip. The suction unit has an electrically operated display element on the rear wall of the housing facing the cut-out so as to output visual information. The display element has a first part-display which is arranged on a first side of the hand grip and a second part-display which is arranged on a second side of the hand grip lying opposite the first side. The display element is configured such that the first and second part-displays display the same visual information.

the suction unit has a longitudinal axis and a vertical axis; the suction air flow runs within said suction mouth along the longitudinal axis; said hand grip runs along the vertical axis; and the plane of symmetry is defined by the longitudinal axis and the vertical axis.
4 . The suction unit according to claim 1 , wherein:
said electrically operated display element facing an inner side of said hand grip that faces said cut-out and/or said rear wall; and/or said electrically operated display element is covered at least in some areas by said hand grip.
5 . The suction unit according to claim 1 , wherein:
the suction unit has a longitudinal axis; and said rear wall is inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis.
6 . The suction unit according to claim 1 , wherein:
said electrically operated display element contains a first quantity of light modules and a second quantity of light modules; individual light modules of said first and second quantity of light modules contain in each case a light-emitting diode; said first quantity of light modules is disposed mirror-symmetrically with regard to a plane of symmetry with respect to said second quantity of light modules; the suction unit is configured such that said first quantity of light modules is actuated to display a first part-symbol, and said second quantity of light modules is actuated//to display a second part-symbol; and the first part-symbol and the second part-symbol are mirror-symmetrical with regard to the plane of symmetry.
7 . The suction unit according to claim 6 , wherein the suction unit is limited to actuating said first quantity of light modules and said second quantity of light modules such that the first and second part symbols are mirror-symmetrical first and second part-symbols which are always displayed.
8 . The suction unit according to claim 6 , wherein:
the first part-symbol and the second part-symbol are each configured in a shape of a bar thus defining bar-shaped first and second parts-symbols; and the suction unit is configured to actuate said first quantity of light modules and said second quantity of light modules such that a length of said bar-shaped first and second part-symbols is changed and/or a color of said bar-shaped first and second part-symbols is changed.
9 . The suction unit according to claim 6 , wherein said electrically operated display element comprises:
a diffuser configured to scatter light emitted by said individual light modules; and/or a symbol layer configured to spatially limit to the first or to the second part-symbol the light emitted by said first quantity of light modules and by said second quantity of light modules; and/or a covering configured to protect said electrically operated display element from environmental influences.
10 . The suction unit according to claim 1 , further comprising a control apparatus configured to determine information with regard to a quantity of the dirt particles in the suction air flow and to cause said electrically operated display element to visually display the determined information with regard to the quantity of the dirt particles, by a length of a symbol displayed by said electrically operated display element and/or by a color of the symbol displayed by said electrically operated display element.
11 . The suction unit according to claim 10 , wherein said control apparatus is configured:
to cause the length of the symbol displayed by said electrically operated display element to increase as the quantity of the dirt particles reduces; and/or to cause the color of the symbol displayed by said electrically operated display element to change when the quantity of the dirt particles falls below a quantity threshold value.
12 . The suction unit according to claim 1 , further comprising a control apparatus configured:
to determine information with regard to an accessory which is coupled to said suction mouth of the suction unit, wherein the information includes a type of accessory from a quantity of different accessory types; and to cause said electrically operated display element to visually display the information determined with regard to the accessory.
13 . The suction unit according to claim 1 , further comprising a blower which is configured to generate the suction air flow through said suction mouth, and said rear wall with said electrically operated display element adjoins said blower.
14 . The suction unit according to claim 2 , wherein said electrically operated display element is configured mirror-symmetrically with regard to the plane of symmetry, and the plane of symmetry divides said hand grip into a left-hand half and a right-hand half.
15 . The suction unit according to claim 1 , wherein said electrically operated display element is covered at least in some areas by said hand grip along a longitudinal axis of the suction unit.
