Wear runner style wear member
Abstract
The present disclosure is directed to a wear member attachable to a base on ground engaging equipment. The wear member may include a top wear surface, a bottom surface opposite the top wear surface, a first lateral side, a second lateral side opposite the first lateral side, and a projection projecting downward from the bottom surface. The projection may include an internally disposed first securement ramp configured to contact a corresponding securement ramp on a base. The internally disposed first securement ramp may be spaced from the first lateral side and from the second lateral side. A lock-receiver opening may extend from the top wear surface to the bottom surface.

. The wear member of claim 10 , wherein the second push-out ramp is parallel to the second securement ramp.
. The wear member of claim 9 , wherein the first securement ramp is parallel to the second securement ramp.
. The wear member of claim 1 , further comprising a block extending downward from the bottom surface adjacent the lock-receiver opening.
. The wear member of claim 13 , wherein a first part of the lock-receiver opening adjacent the block comprises a first thickness and a different, second part of the opening comprises a second thickness, wherein the first thickness is larger than the second thickness.
. The wear member of claim 14 , wherein the lock-receiver opening comprises a third ramp, and wherein the third ramp is disposed on the first part of the lock-receiver opening and is configured to engage with a lock.
. A wear member attachable to a base on ground engaging equipment, comprising:
a top wear surface; a bottom surface opposite the top wear surface; a first lateral side; a second lateral side opposite the first lateral side; a projection projecting downward from the bottom surface, the projection comprising an internally disposed first push-out ramp configured to contact a corresponding push-out ramp on a base, the internally disposed first push-out ramp being spaced from the first lateral side and from the second lateral side; and a lock-receiver opening extending from the top wear surface to the bottom surface.
. The wear member of claim 16 , further comprising a first securement ramp, wherein the first securement ramp is configured to contact a corresponding securement ramp on the base.
. The wear member of claim 17 , wherein the first securement ramp is parallel to the first push-out ramp.
. The wear member of claim 16 , wherein the projection is spaced from the first lateral side and the second lateral side, the wear member having a central longitudinal axis, and the projection is centered on the central longitudinal axis.
. The wear member of claim 16 , wherein the projection is spaced from a front end of the wear member and spaced from a back end of the wear member.
. The wear member of claim 16 , further comprising a second push-out ramp configured to contact a corresponding push-out ramp on the base.
. The wear member of claim 21 , further comprising a wall projecting downward from the bottom surface and extending around at least a portion of a perimeter of the wear member.
. The wear member of claim 22 , wherein the wall extends along a front end of the wear member.
. The wear member of claim 23 , wherein the wall extends along the front end, the first lateral side, and the second lateral side.
. The wear member of claim 23 , wherein the wall comprises a second securement ramp configured to contact a corresponding securement ramp on the base.
. The wear member of claim 25 , wherein the second securement ramp is parallel to the second push-out ramp.
. The wear member of claim 21 , wherein the first push-out ramp is parallel to the second push-out ramp.
. The wear member of claim 16 , further comprising a block extending downward from the bottom surface adjacent the lock-receiver opening.
