Abstract

Some embodiments of the present disclosure include a wear member assembly for ground engaging equipment. The wear member assembly may include a wear member and base. The wear member may include a projection projecting downward from a bottom surface and having an internally disposed first securement ramp spaced from the first lateral side and from the second lateral side. The base may include an aperture extending from the second top surface to the second bottom surface and having a second securement ramp configured to contact the first securement ramp on the wear member. The wear member and base may each have a lock-receiver opening extending therethrough that align when the wear member is seated on the base. A locking pin may be fittable in the lock-receiver openings of the wear member and base. The first securement ramp of the wear member may contact the second securement ramp of the base.
