a base configured to be mounted to an underside of a furniture frame; a leg member having an upper end and a lower end, the upper end being rotatably coupled to the base; an adjustment mechanism disposed at the upper end of the leg member, the adjustment mechanism configured to selectively vary the height of the leg member relative to the base; and a concealment structure positioned at an interface between the base and the upper end of the leg member, the concealment structure configured to obscure a parting seam created by adjustment of the leg member from a normal viewing perspective when the furniture is in use.
2 . The height-adjustable furniture leg of claim 1 , wherein the adjustment mechanism comprises a threaded connection between the base and the leg member, allowing for rotational height adjustment.
3 . The height-adjustable furniture leg of claim 2 , wherein the threaded connection includes a locking mechanism to prevent unintentional height changes.
4 . The height-adjustable furniture leg of claim 1 , wherein the concealment structure comprises an overlapping flange extending from the base, configured to cover the parting seam during adjustment.
5 . The height-adjustable furniture leg of claim 1 , wherein the leg member comprises an outer sleeve and an inner telescoping section, the inner telescoping section being configured to move relative to the outer sleeve to vary the height.

17 . The height-adjustable furniture leg of claim 1 , wherein the adjustment mechanism is configured to provide a continuous range of height adjustment between a minimum and maximum position.

a base configured to be mounted to an underside of a furniture frame, the base including a plurality of pre-formed mounting holes for receiving fasteners; a leg member having an upper end and a lower end, the upper end being rotatably coupled to the base; an adjustment mechanism comprising a threaded connection between the base and the upper end of the leg member, the threaded connection configured to selectively vary the height of the leg member relative to the base through manual rotation; a locking mechanism operably engaged with the threaded connection to prevent unintentional height changes; a concealment structure comprising an overlapping flange extending from the base, the concealment structure configured to obscure a parting seam created by adjustment of the leg member from a normal viewing perspective when the furniture is in use; and a grip-enhancing surface disposed on an exterior portion of the leg member to facilitate manual rotation for height adjustment.
20 . A height-adjustable furniture leg, comprising:
a base configured to be mounted to an underside of a furniture frame, the base including a plurality of pre-formed mounting holes for receiving fasteners; a leg member having an upper end and a lower end, the upper end being rotatably coupled to the base, wherein the leg member comprises a cylindrical outer sleeve and an inner telescoping section configured to move relative to the outer sleeve to vary the height; an adjustment mechanism comprising a threaded connection between the base and the upper end of the leg member, the threaded connection configured to selectively vary the height of the leg member relative to the base through manual rotation; a detent system integrated with the adjustment mechanism, the detent system providing discrete height settings to ensure secure positioning at different height levels; a locking mechanism operably engaged with the threaded connection to prevent unintentional height changes; a concealment structure comprising an overlapping flange extending from the base, the concealment structure being composed of a flexible material configured to automatically reposition as the leg member is adjusted to obscure a parting seam from a normal viewing perspective when the furniture is in use; a grip-enhancing surface disposed on an exterior portion of the leg member to facilitate manual rotation for height adjustment; and a load-bearing foot at the lower end of the leg member, the load-bearing foot configured to distribute weight evenly across a support surface.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
