Abstract

An aerosol generation product according to one embodiment comprises: a medium segment filled with a medium; and a first segment arranged upstream of the medium segment and/or a second segment arranged downstream of the medium segment, wherein the first segment or the second segment is composed of a cellulose acetate filter comprising a plasticizer, and the amount of plasticizer can be set in a range at which no indentations are formed on the first segment or the second segment.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An aerosol-generating article comprising:
a medium segment filled with a medium; and at least one of a first segment disposed upstream of the medium segment and a second segment disposed downstream of the medium segment; wherein the first segment or the second segment comprises a cellulose acetate filter comprising a plasticizer, and a content of the plasticizer is set to a range in which a recess in the first segment or the second segment does not occur.

         2 . The aerosol-generating article of claim 1 ,
wherein the content of the plasticizer is substantially equal to 11% or less than 11%.

         3 . The aerosol-generating article of claim 2 ,
wherein the content of the plasticizer is substantially equal to 4% or greater than 4%.

         4 . The aerosol-generating article of claim 3 ,
wherein the plasticizer is one of triacetin (TA) or triethyl citrate (TEC).

         5 . The aerosol-generating article of claim 2 ,
wherein the medium comprises at least one component of tobacco granules, reconstituted tobacco, and cut tobacco leaves or a combination thereof.

         6 . The aerosol-generating article of claim 5 ,
wherein the medium is pH-treated and nicotine spread from the medium is adsorbed into the first segment or the second segment.

         7 . The aerosol-generating article of claim 6 ,
wherein the medium is pH-treated to be in a range of 7.0 to 9.5.

         8 . An aerosol-generating article comprising:
a first segment; and a second segment disposed downstream of the first segment, wherein nicotine is adsorbed into the first segment or the second segment, the first segment or the second segment comprises a cellulose acetate filter comprising a plasticizer, and a content of the plasticizer is greater than or equal to 4% and less than or equal to 11%.

         9 . The aerosol-generating article of claim 8 , further comprising:
a medium segment disposed between the first segment and the second segment, wherein the medium segment comprises a pH-treated tobacco medium, and nicotine adsorbed into the first segment or nicotine adsorbed into the second segment is spread from the medium segment.

10 . The aerosol-generating article of claim 8 wherein the first segment or the second segment is manufactured by cutting a filter portion to which free nicotine emitted from a medium raw material comprising nicotine is spread.
