Abstract
A portable, personal apparatus for transporting liquid having a bottle configured to contain liquid. The bottle has a longitudinal axis. A first opening open in a direction generally parallel with the longitudinal axis in a pour position. A first cover coupled to the bottle and configured to close the first opening in a closed position. A second opening open in a direction generally orthogonal with the longitudinal axis in a fill position. A second cover coupled to the bottle and configured to close the second opening in a storage position. The second cover remaining coupled to the bottle when the second cover is in the fill position.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 19 . (canceled)
20 . A cap assembly configured to be coupled to a container, the cap assembly comprising:
a cap comprising:
a first opening configured to transition from a pour position to a closed position;
a second opening configured to transition from a fill position to a storage position; and
a vent configured to be in fluid communication with ambient;
a cover coupled to the cap and configured to close the second opening when the second opening is in the storage position, the cover remaining coupled to the cap when the cover is in the fill position; a filter configured to couple to the cap; and a fluid reservoir between the filter and at least one of the first opening and the second opening.
21 . The cap assembly of claim 20 , wherein the filter comprises a top opening configured to receive water and a second opening configured dispensing filtered water into a container.
22 . The cap assembly of claim 21 , wherein the second opening extends through a bottom of the filter.
23 . The cap assembly of claim 20 , wherein the filter is configured to extend into a container when the cap assembly is coupled to the container.
24 . The cap assembly of claim 23 , wherein the cap assembly is configured to threadably couple to a container.
25 . The cap assembly of claim 20 , wherein the first opening is only in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir in the storage position through the filter.
26 . The cap assembly of claim 20 , wherein the vent is configured to allow ambient air into a bottle when liquid is poured from the first opening.
27 . The cap assembly of claim 20 , wherein the first opening is spaced from a longitudinal axis and is generally diametrically opposed to the second opening with respect to the longitudinal axis.
28 . The cap assembly of claim 20 , further comprising a second cover configured to close the first opening when the first opening is in the closed position.
29 . The cap assembly of claim 20 , wherein the fluid reservoir is configured to contain unfiltered water entering the second opening before going through the filter.
30 . The cap assembly of claim 20 , wherein at least one of the filter and reservoir is contained within a cartridge.
31 . The cap assembly of claim 20 , wherein the filter includes activated carbon.
32 . The cap assembly of claim 20 , wherein the filter is a fast flow filter.
33 . The cap assembly of claim 20 , wherein the cap further comprises a side wall at least partially defining the fluid reservoir.
34 . The cap assembly of claim 20 , wherein the cap assembly is configured to gravity flow filter water.
35 . A container for transporting liquid comprising:
a container configured to contain liquid, the container having a longitudinal axis; a cap configured to couple with the container, the cap comprising:
a sidewall;
a first opening configured to transition from a pour position to a closed position;
a second opening configured to transition from a fill position to a storage position;
a vent configured to be in fluid communication with ambient;
a cover coupled to the cap and configured to close the second opening when the second opening is in the storage position, the cover remaining coupled to the container when the cover is in the fill position; and
a reservoir at least partially defined by the sidewall; and
a filter configured to couple to the cap.
36 . The container of claim 35 , wherein the filter comprises a top opening configured to receive water and a second opening configured dispensing filtered water into a container.
37 . The container of claim 36 , wherein the second opening extends through a bottom of the filter.
38 . The container of claim 35 , wherein the filter is coupled to the cap and configured to extend into a bottle.
39 . The container of claim 38 , wherein the cap is threadably coupled to the bottle.
40 . The container of claim 35 , wherein the first opening is only in fluid communication with the reservoir in the storage position through the filter.
41 . The container of claim 35 , wherein the vent is configured to allow ambient air into a bottle when liquid is poured from the first opening.
42 . The container of claim 35 , wherein the first opening is spaced from the longitudinal axis and is generally diametrically opposed to the second opening with respect to the longitudinal axis.
43 . The container of claim 35 , wherein the reservoir is configured to contain unfiltered water entering the second opening before going through the filter.
44 . The container of claim 35 , wherein at least one of the filter and reservoir is contained within a cartridge.
45 . The container of claim 35 , wherein the filter includes activated carbon.
46 . The container of claim 35 , wherein the filter is a fast flow filter.
47 . The cap assembly of claim 35 , wherein the container for transporting liquid is configured to gravity flow filter water.Cited by (0)
