Abstract

The present disclosure provides generally for a stature adjusting device that may increase the distance between one or more portions of a user's foot and a traversable surface. This may provide a non-invasive and convenient way of compensating for leg length discrepancies that may be caused by surgery, injury, or genetics. In some aspects, the stature adjusting device may comprise at least one support element, wherein the support element comprises a thickness configured to increase a distance between at least one portion of a user's foot, such as the heel, and a surface being traversed by a user. In some embodiments, the stature adjusting device may comprise at least one securing mechanism, wherein the securing mechanism may be configured to secure the support element proximate to the user's heel.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A stature adjusting device, comprising:
 at least one support element, wherein the at least one support element comprises a thickness, wherein the at least one support element is configured to increase a distance between at least one portion of a foot of a user and a traversable surface,   wherein the at least one support element comprises a top portion and a bottom portion, wherein the top portion of the at least one support element is configured to abut the at least one portion of the foot of the user, and   at least one securing mechanism, wherein the at least one securing mechanism is configured to secure the at least one support element proximate to the at least one portion of the foot of the user.   
     
     
         2 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one portion of the foot of the user comprises a bottom portion of a heel of the user. 
     
     
         3 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 2 , wherein the top portion of the at least one support element comprises at least one curved indentation configured to receive the bottom portion of the heel of the user. 
     
     
         4 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one securing mechanism at least partially comprises at least one elastic material. 
     
     
         5 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 4 , wherein the at least one securing mechanism comprises two openings, wherein the foot of the user is removably insertable into the at least one securing mechanism via the two openings. 
     
     
         6 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 5 , wherein the at least one securing mechanism comprises a sleeve. 
     
     
         7 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one support element at least partially comprises at least one pliable material. 
     
     
         8 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 7 , wherein the at least one support element comprises at least one malleable material. 
     
     
         9 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 1 , wherein the bottom portion of the at least one securing mechanism comprises at least one receptacle, wherein the at least one support element is removable insertable into the at least one receptacle via at least one opening. 
     
     
         10 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 9 , further comprising at least one closing mechanism, wherein the at least one closing mechanism is configured to at least temporarily close at least a portion of the at least one opening. 
     
     
         11 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 10 , wherein at least one closing mechanism comprises at least one of: a zipper, a hook-and-loop fastener, a button, or a snapping mechanism. 
     
     
         12 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one support element is integrated with the at least one securing mechanism. 
     
     
         13 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 12 , wherein the at least one support element comprises the same material as the at least one securing mechanism. 
     
     
         14 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 1 , further comprising at least one attachment mechanism, wherein the at least one attachment mechanism is configured to at least temporarily secure the at least one support element to the at least one securing mechanism. 
     
     
         15 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 14 , wherein the at least one attachment mechanism comprises at least one of: a hook-and-loop fastener, a snapping mechanism, an adhesive, a button, or one or more stitches. 
     
     
         16 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 1 , wherein the thickness of the at least one support element tapers in at least one direction. 
     
     
         17 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one support element comprises a wedge shape, a parallelepiped shape, or a frustoconical shape. 
     
     
         18 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one securing mechanism comprises a plurality of straps. 
     
     
         19 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one support element comprises a material that comprises one or more of: leather, foam, rubber, plastic, latex, gel, silicone, or a cellular polymer. 
     
     
         20 . The stature adjusting device of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one securing mechanism comprises a material that comprises one or more of: cotton, cloth, fabric, textile, linen, elastane, rubber, or nylon.
