Domestic dishwasher

Abstract

A household dishwasher includes a dishwasher cavity, and a receptacle for receiving items to be washed. The receptacle is designed for movement out of the dishwasher cavity in a pull-out direction and for movement into the dishwasher cavity in an insertion direction oriented counter to the pull-out direction. A spray arm is rotatably mounted on the receptacle for supplying the items to be washed with washing liquor and/or fresh water. A spray arm rotating device is attached to the receptacle and includes a movement element which is movably mounted on the receptacle and supported in or on the dishwasher cavity in order to set the spray arm to rotate, when the receptacle is moved into the dishwasher cavity in the insertion direction.

         16 . A household dishwasher, comprising:
 a dishwasher cavity;   a receptacle for receiving items to be washed, said receptacle designed for movement out of the dishwasher cavity in a pull-out direction and for movement into the dishwasher cavity in an insertion direction oriented counter to the pull-out direction;   a spray arm rotatably mounted on the receptacle for supplying the items to be washed with washing liquor and/or fresh water; and   a spray arm rotating device attached to the receptacle and comprising a movement element which is movably mounted on the receptacle and supported in or on the dishwasher cavity in order to set the spray arm to rotate, when the receptacle is moved into the dishwasher cavity in the insertion direction.   
     
     
         17 . The household dishwasher of  claim 16 , wherein the spray arm rotating device comprises an engagement element which is attached to the spray arm and which extends on an upper face out of the spray arm in a direction of the receptacle, and a counter-engagement element which is attached to the movement element and which extends on a lower face out of the receptacle in a direction of the spray arm, said counter-engagement element positively engaging in the engagement element when the receptacle is moved into the dishwasher cavity in the insertion direction, in order to set the spray arm to rotate. 
     
     
         18 . The household dishwasher of  claim 17 , wherein the counter-engagement element is an elastically deformable component. 
     
     
         19 . The household dishwasher of  claim 18 , wherein the elastically deformable component is a leaf spring or a plastic component. 
     
     
         20 . The household dishwasher of  claim 17 , wherein the counter-engagement element slides over the engagement element when the receptacle is moved out of the dishwasher cavity in the pull-out direction, with the counter-engagement element being deformed in a spring-elastic manner. 
     
     
         21 . The household dishwasher of  claim 17 , wherein the engagement element comprises a plurality of plate-shaped engagement wings, with the counter-engagement element positively engaging between the engagement wings in order to set the spray arm to rotate when the receptacle is moved into the dishwasher cavity in the insertion direction. 
     
     
         22 . The household dishwasher of  claim 21 , wherein the engagement wings are arranged so as to be equally distributed about an axis of rotation of the spray arm. 
     
     
         23 . The household dishwasher of  claim 22 , wherein the engagement wings extend radially outwardly starting from the axis of rotation of the spray arm. 
     
     
         24 . The household dishwasher of  claim 21 , wherein the spray arm comprises a wing plate to which the engagement wings are attached, said engagement wings extending radially beyond the wing plate and connected to one another only by means of the wing plate. 
     
     
         25 . The household dishwasher of  claim 16 , wherein the spray arm rotating device comprises a carrier element which is positively connected to the receptacle and on which the movement element is movably mounted. 
     
     
         26 . The household dishwasher of  claim 16 , wherein the spray arm rotating device comprises a spring element which pretensions the movement element in a direction of the dishwasher cavity. 
     
     
         27 . The household dishwasher of  claim 26 , wherein the spring element is pretensioned when the movement element is supported in or on the dishwasher cavity. 
     
     
         28 . The household dishwasher of  claim 26 , wherein the spray arm rotating device comprises a carrier element which is positively connected to the receptacle and on which the movement element is movably mounted, and a transmission element which is attached to the movement element, said spring element being arranged between the carrier element and the transmission element. 
     
     
         29 . The household dishwasher of  claim 28 , wherein the transmission element is movably mounted on the carrier element. 
     
     
         30 . The household dishwasher of  claim 26 , wherein the movement element is guided through the spring element. 
     
     
         31 . The household dishwasher of  claim 16 , wherein the spray arm rotating device comprises a buffer element which is attached to the movement element, said buffer element being arranged between the movement element and the dishwasher cavity.
