Abstract

A hand-held exercise device is disclosed. The exercise device includes a series of bell-shaped connectors. Each of the bell-shaped connector includes a spherical head and a spherical receiving cavity. The series is formed by rotatably coupling the spherical head of one bell-shaped connector to the receiving spherical cavity of another bell-shaped connector. The series of bell-shaped connectors is covered by a sheath for protection. A first end of the series of bell-shaped connectors has a spherical head in order to rotatably couple to a first handle having a coupler located at one end of the first handle. Similarly, a second end of the series of bell-shaped connectors has a receiving cavity in order to rotatably couple to a second handle having a coupler located at one end of the second handle.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A method for manufacturing a hand-held exercise device, said method comprising:
forming a series of bell-shaped connectors, each bell-shaped connector having a spherical head and a spherical receiving cavity, by rotatably coupling said spherical head of one bell-shaped connector to said receiving spherical cavity of another bell-shaped connector; covering said series of bell-shaped connectors by a sheath; providing a coupler to one end of a first handle; rotatably coupling said coupler at one end of said first handle to a first end of said series of bell-shaped connectors having a spherical head; providing a coupler to one end of a second handle; and rotatably coupling said coupler at one end of said second handle to a second end of said series of bell-shaped connectors having a receiving cavity.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said sheath is corrugated.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said sheath is made of plastic or rubber.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said first handle is identical to said second handle.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said first handle is different from said second handle.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said first handle is a ball-shaped object.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said first handle is a baseball.

8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said first handle is an elongated object.

9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said first handle is a baseball bat.

10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said first handle is a tennis racket handle.

         11 . A hand-held exercise device comprising:
a series of bell-shaped connectors, each bell-shaped connector having a spherical head and a spherical receiving cavity, wherein said series is formed by rotatably coupling said spherical head of one bell-shaped connector to said receiving spherical cavity of another bell-shaped connector; a sheath covering said series of bell-shaped connectors; a first handle having a coupler at one end of said first handle for rotatably coupling to a first end of said series of bell-shaped connectors having a spherical head; and a second handle having a coupler at one end of said second handle for rotatably coupling to a second end of said series of bell-shaped connectors having a receiving cavity.

12 . The hand-held exercise device of claim 11 , wherein said sheath is corrugated.

13 . The hand-held exercise device of claim 11 , wherein said sheath is made of plastic or rubber.

14 . The hand-held exercise device of claim 11 , wherein said first handle is identical to said second handle.

15 . The hand-held exercise device of claim 11 , wherein said first handle is different from said second handle.

16 . The hand-held exercise device of claim 11 , wherein said first handle is a ball-shaped object.

17 . The hand-held exercise device of claim 11 , wherein said first handle is a baseball.

18 . The hand-held exercise device of claim 11 , wherein said attachment is an elongated object.

19 . The hand-held exercise device of claim 11 , wherein said first handle is a baseball bat.

20 . The hand-held exercise device of claim 11 , wherein said first handle is a tennis racket handle.
