Abstract
A vaporizer device includes a vaporizer cartridge having a reservoir that holds a vaporizable material, a heating element, and a wicking element that can draw the vaporizable material to the heating element to be vaporized. The vaporizer cartridge is configured for coupling to a vaporizer device body and containing the vaporizable material. The wicking element of the vaporizer cartridge may include tobacco.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 .- 30 . (canceled)
31 . A vaporizer cartridge for a vaporizer device, the vaporizer cartridge comprising:
a vaporizer cartridge body comprising:
a wicking element having a first side and a second, opposing side, and the wicking element having a first portion and a second portion wherein the second portion is downstream of the first portion;
a reservoir configured to hold a vaporizable material, wherein the first portion of the first side of the wicking element is configured to contact the vaporizable material and draw at least a portion of the vaporizable material from the reservoir to the second portion of the wicking element; and
a heating element adjacent to the reservoir and configured to heat the portion of the drawn vaporizable material within the second portion of the wicking element, wherein the heating element is in contact with and applies a compressive force to the second portion of the first side of the wicking element.
32 . The vaporizer cartridge of claim 31 , wherein the wicking element comprises tobacco.
33 . The vaporizer cartridge of claim 32 , wherein the wicking element further comprises a fibrous material positioned adjacent to the tobacco.
34 . The vaporizer cartridge of claim 33 , wherein the heating element contacts the fibrous material.
35 . The vaporizer cartridge of claim 33 , wherein the fibrous material comprises cotton.
36 . The vaporizer cartridge of claim 31 , wherein the wicking element is exposed to the vaporizable material in the reservoir along opposing lateral sides of the wicking element.
37 . The vaporizer cartridge of claim 31 , wherein the vaporizer cartridge body comprises a first side and a second side, wherein the wicking element is positioned along a portion of the first side of the vaporizer cartridge body and wherein the heating element, the reservoir, or both are positioned along a portion of the second side of the vaporizer cartridge body.
38 . The vaporizer cartridge of claim 37 , wherein the wicking element is positioned along the first side of the vaporizer cartridge body from a first end of the vaporizer cartridge body to a second end of the vaporizer cartridge body.
39 . The vaporizer cartridge of claim 31 , wherein the wicking element comprises a flat pad shape.
40 . The vaporizer cartridge of claim 31 , further comprising an air passageway extending between the heating element and the mouthpiece.
41 . The vaporizer cartridge of claim 31 , further comprising a mouthpiece coupled to an end of the vaporizer cartridge body.
42 . A vaporizer device comprising:
a vaporizer body comprising a cartridge receptacle; and a vaporizer cartridge configured to be at least partially received within the cartridge receptacle, the vaporizer cartridge comprising:
a vaporizer cartridge body comprising:
a wicking element having a first side and a second, opposing side, and the wicking element having a first portion and a second portion wherein the second portion is downstream of the first portion;
a reservoir configured to hold a vaporizable material, wherein the first portion of the first side of the wicking element is configured to contact the vaporizable material and draw at least a portion of the vaporizable material from the reservoir to the second portion of the wicking element; and
a heating element adjacent to the reservoir and configured to heat the portion of the drawn vaporizable material within the second portion of the wicking element, wherein the heating element is in contact with and applies a compressive force to the second portion of the first side of the wicking element.
43 . The vaporizer device of claim 42 , wherein the wicking element comprises tobacco.
44 . The vaporizer device of claim 43 , wherein the wicking element further comprises a fibrous material positioned adjacent to the tobacco.
45 . The vaporizer device of claim 44 , wherein the heating element contacts the fibrous material.
46 . The vaporizer device of claim 44 , wherein the fibrous material comprises cotton.
47 . The vaporizer device of claim 42 , wherein the wicking element is exposed to the vaporizable material in the reservoir along opposing lateral sides of the wicking element.
48 . The vaporizer device of claim 42 , wherein the vaporizer cartridge body comprises a first side and a second side, wherein the wicking element is positioned along a portion of the first side of the vaporizer cartridge body and wherein the heating element, the reservoir, or both are positioned along a portion of the second side of the vaporizer cartridge body.
49 . The vaporizer device of claim 42 , wherein the wicking element comprises a flat pad shape.
50 . The vaporizer device of claim 42 , wherein the vaporizer cartridge further comprises a mouthpiece coupled to an end of the vaporizer cartridge body.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
