Abstract

A container system is disclosed herein. The container system includes a cylindrical hollow body, a top cap, and a bottom cap. The body includes openings on a top end and bottom end. The body also includes a raised ridge system that can be disposed around the circumference of the top end of the body. The raised ridge system forms a plurality of locking channels, each with an entry and exit gap. The entry gaps are laterally and vertically offset from the exit gaps. The top cap is removably coupled to the top end of the body. The top cap includes a plurality of protrusions that are configured to engage with and pass through the plurality of locking channels to transition the top cap and the body between a locked state and an unlocked state.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A container system comprising:
 a body comprising:
 a top end having a top opening;
 a bottom end having a bottom opening;
 a cylindrical hollow body; and
 a raised ridge system disposed around a circumference of the top end of the body, the raised ridge system forming a plurality of locking channels, each locking channel having an entry gap and an exit gap laterally and vertically offset from the entry gap; and
   a top cap configured to removably couple to the top end of the body, the top cap comprising a plurality of protrusions configured to engage with and pass through the plurality of locking channels to transition the top cap and the body between a locked state and an unlocked state.

         2 . The container system of claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of protrusions is configured to translate vertically through the entry gap of one of the plurality of locking channels and laterally through the exit gap of one of the plurality of locking channels.

         3 . The container system of claim 2 , wherein the body comprises a first alignment indicator and the top cap comprises a second alignment indicator, wherein each of the plurality of protrusions is configured to align with the entry gap of one of the plurality of locking channels when the first alignment indicator is aligned with the second alignment indicator.

         4 . The container system of claim 3 , wherein the first alignment indicator comprises an arrow, wherein the second alignment indicator comprises an arrow.

         5 . The container system of claim 2 , wherein the plurality of protrusions comprise a first protrusion having a first size configured to pass through a first entry gap of a first locking channel and a second protrusion having a second size configured to pass through a second entry gap of a second locking channel, the first size being different than the second size.

         6 . The container system of claim 2 , wherein the plurality of protrusions comprise three protrusions.

         7 . The container system of claim 2 , wherein each raised ridge system comprises a plurality of raised ridge structures.

         8 . The container system of claim 7 , wherein each of the plurality of raised ridge structures comprises a first raised ridge structure having a first bottom ridge and a second raised ridge structure having a second bottom ridge, wherein the first bottom ridge and the second bottom ridge at least partially define an entry gap of one of the plurality of locking channels.

         9 . The container system of claim 7 , wherein the plurality of raised ridge structures comprises a first raised ridge structure having a top ridge and a second raised ridge structure having a bottom ridge, wherein the top ridge of the first raised ridge structure and the bottom ridge of the second raised ridge structure at least partially define an exit gap of one of the plurality of locking channels.

         10 . The container system of claim 7 , wherein each raised ridge structure comprises a bottom ridge, a top ridge, and a connecting ridge extending between the top ridge and the bottom ridge.

         11 . The container system of claim 10 , wherein the connecting ridge extends vertically between the top ridge and the bottom ridge.

         12 . The container system of claim 10 , wherein each locking channel is defined by two adjacent raised ridge structures.

         13 . The container system of claim 1 , further comprising a bottom cap configured to removably couple to the bottom end of the body.

         14 . The container system of claim 13 , wherein the bottom cap comprises a raised ridge system disposed around a circumference of the bottom cap, wherein the raised ridge system includes a plurality of ridges separated by a plurality of gaps.

         15 . The container system of claim 14 , wherein the body comprises a plurality of protrusions disposed circumferentially around an interior of the bottom end, the plurality of protrusions configured to engage with and pass through the plurality of gaps of the raised ridge system of the bottom cap.

         16 . The container system of claim 15 , wherein the plurality of ridges of the bottom cap each comprise first and second tapered ends.

         17 . The container system of claim 16 , wherein the body comprises a first alignment indicator and the bottom cap comprises a second alignment indicator, wherein each of the plurality of protrusions of the body is configured to align with one of the plurality of gaps of the raised ridge system of the bottom cap when the first alignment indicator is aligned with the second alignment indicator.

         18 .
