Abstract
A razor cartridge may include a plurality of razor blades installed in one direction of a cartridge frame, and a trimmer installed in the other direction of the cartridge frame. The trimmer may include a trimming blade seated in a seating groove formed in the cartridge frame, and a trimmer cap coupled to both sides of the cartridge frame so that the trimming blade is fixed.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A razor cartridge comprising:
a cartridge frame comprising a front surface and a rear surface opposite to the front surface in a height direction; a plurality of razor blades located in the cartridge frame and each comprising a cutting edge positioned to face the front surface; a trimming blade comprising a trimming edge positioned to face the rear surface; a first securing member coupled to the cartridge frame and configured to fix the trimming blade to the cartridge frame, the first securing member including a body part extending in a longitudinal direction to cover the trimming blade and coupling parts extending from the body part, which are formed to fix the first securing member to the cartridge frame; and second securing members configured to fix the plurality of razor blades to the cartridge frame, at least a portion of each of the second securing members mounted on seating areas positioned at both longitudinal sides of the body part, the seating areas forming to be stepped with an external surface of the body part.
2 . The razor cartridge of claim 1 , wherein the trimming blade is positioned between the cartridge frame and the first securing member.
3 . The razor cartridge of claim 2 , wherein the external surface of the body part is exposed to the outside and is opposite to an inner surface that supports the trimming blade.
4 . The razor cartridge of claim 1 , wherein the cartridge frame further includes coupling grooves, and
wherein the coupling parts of the first securing member are inserted into the coupling grooves such that a preliminary assembly between the first securing member and the cartridge frame is accomplished.
5 . The razor cartridge of claim 4 , wherein the second securing members are configured to accomplish a final assembly between the first securing member and the cartridge frame.
6 . The razor cartridge of claim 1 , wherein the second securing members wrap around a portion of a periphery portion of the cartridge frame.
7 . The razor cartridge of claim 1 , wherein the cartridge frame further comprises a top wall, a bottom wall opposite to the top wall, and a pair of side walls, the pair of side walls each extending substantially transverse to the first and second walls, and
wherein at least a portion of each of the second securing members is disposed on the top wall.
8 . The razor cartridge of claim 1 , wherein each of the seating areas is formed on one side of each of the coupling parts in the height direction.
9 . The razor cartridge of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the body portion protrudes in the height direction relative to an external surface of each of the second fixing members, at the rear surface of the cartridge frame.
10 . The razor cartridge of claim 1 , wherein the second securing members is positioned at both longitudinal sides relative to the trimming blade.
11 . The razor cartridge of claim 1 , wherein a longitudinal width of each of the second securing members is equal or greater than a longitudinal width of each of the seating areas.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
