Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and non-transitory computer-readable medium

Abstract

An information processing apparatus includes a housing in which a distance sensor is placed, fittings attaching the housing to a toilet bowl in a toilet, and a control unit. The sensor measures the distance to an object located in a direction of the inside of a toilet seat installed on the bowl when the seat is placed on the top surface of a rim of the bowl. The control unit detects that a user of the toilet is in a state of sitting on the seat when a first distance being a result of measurement by the sensor is less than a predetermined threshold value. The fittings are components attaching the housing in such a way that the sensor is placed at a position located inside the rim and located under the seat in the vertical direction when the seat is placed on the top surface of the rim.

1 . An information processing apparatus that is installed in a toilet bowl, the the information processing apparatus comprising:
 a housing in which a sensor is placed, and   a fitting configured to attach the housing to the toilet bowl,   wherein the fitting is a component attaching the housing in such a way that the sensor is placed at a position located inside a rim of the toilet bowl and located under a toilet seat in a vertical direction when the toilet seat is placed on a top surface of the rim.   
     
     
         2 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the fitting is a fixing clamping mechanism. 
     
     
         3 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the fixing clamping mechanism includes a tip and a sliding member located on an opposite side of the tip, as a pair of members clamping the ribs of the toilet bowl. 
     
     
         4 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 3 , wherein the fixing clamping mechanism includes a dial knob adjusting and fixing an amount of a movement of the sliding member. 
     
     
         5 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 4 , wherein the dial knob includes a torque limiter mechanism. 
     
     
         6 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 3 , wherein an elastic member is provided on a contact surface with the tip and the sliding member of the rib of the toilet bowl. 
     
     
         7 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the housing includes a transparent part leading to a sensor surface. 
     
     
         8 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the sensor is at least any one of a distant sensor and an excretion information collecting sensor,
 the distance sensor measures a distance up to an object in an inner direction of the toilet seat when the toilet seat installed on the toilet bowl is mounted on an upper surface of the toilet bowl, and   the excretion information collecting sensor collects excretion information of a user of a toilet.   
     
     
         9 . A method of information processing, wherein,
 in the state that a housing in which a distant sensor and an excretion information collecting sensor are located, is fixed by a fitting in such a way that the housing is located in a position under the toilet seat in the vertical direction when the toilet seat is placed on a top surface of the rim in an inner position of the rib of the toilet bowl,   the distance sensor measures a distance up to an object in an inner direction of the toilet seat when the toilet seat installed on the toilet bowl is mounted on an upper surface of the toilet bowl, and   the excretion information collecting sensor collects excretion information of a user of a toilet.
