Abstract

Disclosed is an adjustable arm device for cable training. The adjustable arm device has a mounting base fitted on a vertical frame, a locking component for locking the mounting base, a swing arm having a guide pulley at its connecting end for the training cable to slide against, a swivel pulley housing at the extending end of the swing arm, a vertically adjustable joint at the connecting end of the swing arm including a horizontal support shaft, a vertical positioning seat, a vertical angle locking component that allows vertical swinging, a horizontal adjustable joint on the mounting base below the vertical joint, including a vertical support shaft, a horizontal positioning seat, a horizontal angle locking component that allows horizontal swinging, and a cable passage between the connecting end of the swing arm and the swivel pulley housing for passage of the training cable.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An adjustable arm device for cable training, which is designed to be mounted on an existing vertical frame to provide guidance and positional support for a training cable equipped with a grip at its end; the adjustable arm device for cable training includes:
a mounting base, fitted on the vertical frame with an adjustable height; a locking component, provided on the mounting base to lock the height position of the mounting base; a swing arm, including a connecting end and an extending end, where the connecting end is connected to the mounting base, and a guide pulley is rotatably provided on the connecting end for the training cable to be in a sliding contact relationship; a swivel pulley housing, rotatably disposed on the extending end of the swing arm via a rotary shaft, the swivel pulley housing including a cable outlet and an end pulley, with the end pulley rotatably disposed at a position adjacent to the cable outlet so that the end of the training cable first slides and contacts the end pulley before passing out through the cable outlet; a vertical adjustable joint, installed at the connecting end of the swing arm, including a horizontal support shaft, a vertical positioning seat, and a vertical angle locking component, where the swing arm performs a vertical swinging motion to adjust the angle with the horizontal support shaft as the pivot point, the vertical positioning seat is equipped with several vertical angle slots, and the vertical angle locking component selectively locks with any one of the vertical angle slots to fix the state of the vertical adjustable joint; a horizontal adjustable joint, installed on the mounting base and relatively positioned below the vertical adjustable joint, including a vertical support shaft, a horizontal positioning seat, and a horizontal angle locking component, where the swing arm performs a horizontal swinging motion to adjust the angle with the vertical support shaft as the pivot point, the horizontal positioning seat is equipped with several horizontal angle slots, and the horizontal angle locking component selectively locks with any one of the horizontal angle slots to fix the state of the horizontal adjustable joint; and a cable passage, formed between the connecting end of the swing arm and the swivel pulley housing at the extending end, allowing the training cable to form a bent passage segment corresponding to the cable passage.

2 . The adjustable arm device for cable training according to claim 1 , wherein a handle is further provided on one side of the mounting base.

3 . The adjustable arm device for cable training according to claim 1 , wherein the bent passage segment of the training cable extends upwardly after passing through the guide pulley disposed at the connecting end and is thus in a relatively distant relationship to the horizontal positioning seat of the horizontal adjustable joint.

4 . The adjustable arm device for cable training according to claim 1 , wherein the vertical frame forms multiple positioning holes arranged at intervals, while the locking component provided on the mounting base is a spring-loaded pin type including a pull knob, a reset spring, and a locking end, where the locking end selectively engages with any one of the positioning holes.

5 . The adjustable arm device for cable training according to claim 1 , wherein a stop ball is threaded through the end of the training cable, the outer diameter of the stop ball being larger than the cable outlet, and thus being blocked outside the cable outlet to prevent the end of the training cable from retracting backward.

6 . The adjustable arm device for cable training according to claim 1 , wherein the connecting end of the swing arm includes two side plates spaced apart from each other such that the vertical positioning seat of the vertical adjustable joint is located between the two side plates; the vertical angle slots provided on the vertical positioning seat are in the form of holes, while the vertical angle locking component is disposed on one of the side plates, the vertical angle locking component being a spring-loaded pin type including a pull control mechanism, a spring, and an insertion end, where the insertion end selectively engages with any one of the vertical angle slots.

7 . The adjustable arm device for cable training according to claim 5 , wherein a reinforcing support rod is also assembled between the two side plates, and the vertical positioning seat is correspondingly formed with an arcuate opening to allow the reinforcing support rod to pass through.
