Combustion and heating device

Abstract

The present invention relates to a combustion and heating device comprising: a crucible and a sleeve; wherein the crucible is inserted into the sleeve, an upper cap secures onto a first end of the sleeve and a lower cap secures onto a second end of the sleeve, and the crucible comprises a plurality of apertures.

A combustion and heating device comprising: a crucible with a plurality of apertures and a sleeve; wherein the crucible is inserted into the sleeve, an upper cap secures onto a first end of the sleeve and a lower cap secures onto a second end of the sleeve, wherein the at least one of the caps has a vent with a displaceable bung. 
     
     
         2 . A combustion and heating device according to  claim 1  wherein the upper cap includes the vent with the displaceable bung. 
     
     
         3 . A combustion and heating device according to  claim 1  wherein the bung is tethered. 
     
     
         4 . A combustion and heating device according to  claim 1  wherein the upper cap has a screw thread. 
     
     
         5 . A combustion and heating device according to  claim 1  wherein the sleeve is a tube and has a reduced diameter at a lower section. 
     
     
         6 . A combustion and heating device according to  claim 5  wherein the reduced diameter lower section has openings. 
     
     
         7 . A combustion and heating device according to  claim 6  wherein the reduced diameter lower section has a first screw thread for receiving the lower cap that has a corresponding screw thread. 
     
     
         8 . A combustion and heating device according to  claim 7  wherein the sleeve has a second screw thread above the first screw thread on the reduced diameter lower section for receiving the lower cap. 
     
     
         9 . A combustion and heating device according to  claim 6  wherein the reduced diameter lower section with openings is arranged in use to extend below the crucible. 
     
     
         10 . A combustion and heating device according to any of  claim 5  wherein the lower cap has a depth corresponding to at least the reduced diameter lower section of the sleeve with the openings so that the lower cap can be fitted to fully cover the openings. 
     
     
         11 . A combustion and heating device according to  claim 1  comprising a mount to define a stove top. 
     
     
         12 . A combustion and heating device according to  claim 11  wherein the mount is hinged to a top region of the crucible. 
     
     
         13 . A combustion and heating device according to  claim 10  wherein the mount is formed from a plurality of mount parts. 
     
     
         14 . A combustion and heating device according to  claim 1  including at least one cover. 
     
     
         15 . A combustion and heating device according to  claim 14  wherein the at least one cover is formed from silicone. 
     
     
         16 . A combustion and heating device according to  claim 1  wherein an internal face of the sleeve has a ridge on which a lip of the crucible is supported. 
     
     
         17 . A combustion and heating device according to  claim 1  with dimensions of 135 mm×200 mm×135 mm.
