Abstract

Provided are a device operation method and a device in a wireless communication system. The device may be a terminal, a chipset, or a base station. When an uplink channel transmission symbol and a synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel (SS/PBCH) reception symbol overlap in a specific slot including a plurality of symbols in a time domain, the terminal determines whether uplink channel transmission is performed in the specific slot, and includes the specific slot among available slots for the uplink channel transmission on the basis of determining that the specific slot performs uplink channel transmission.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method, comprising:
determining, by a user equipment (UE), whether an uplink channel transmission is performed in a specific slot comprising a plurality of symbols in a time domain based on an uplink channel transmission symbol is overlapped with a synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel (SS/PBCH) reception symbol in the specific slot; and including, by the UE, the specific slot in available slots for the uplink channel transmission based on determining that the uplink channel transmission is to be performed.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the specific slot is a full-duplex (FD) slot among a half-duplex (HD) slot operating in half-duplex and an FD slot operating in full-duplex.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein based on the uplink channel transmission symbol being overlapped with the SS/PBCH reception symbol in a specific symbol in the specific slot, and based on a first frequency resource for the uplink channel transmission and a second frequency resource for SS/PBCH reception not overlapping in the specific symbol, the uplink channel transmission is performed in the specific symbol.

4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the SS/PBCH reception is skipped in the specific symbol.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein based on the uplink channel transmission symbol and the SS/PBCH reception symbol overlapping in the specific slot, and based on a first frequency resource for the uplink channel transmission and a second frequency resource for SS/PBCH reception overlapping in the specific symbol, the uplink channel transmission is skipped in the specific symbol.

6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the SS/PBCH reception is performed in the specific symbol.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein based on the uplink channel transmission symbol and the SS/PBCH reception symbol not overlapping in the specific slot, and based on a switching time required by the UE between the uplink channel transmission symbol and the SS/PBCH reception symbol not existing, the UE receives SS/PBCH without performing the uplink transmission.

8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving SS/PBCH index information informing a specific SS/PBCH index that should be received in priority to an uplink transmission.

9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein based on an index of SS/PBCH to be received in the specific slot being the specific SS/PBCH index, and based on the uplink channel transmission symbol and the SS/PBCH reception symbol overlapping in the specific slot, the UE receives the SS/PBCH having the specific SS/PBCH index without performing the uplink channel transmission.

10 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving time resource information for a specific time resource on which measurement should be performed prior to uplink transmission.

11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein based on the uplink channel transmission symbol and the SS/PBCH reception symbol overlapping in the specific time resource, the UE receives SS/PBCH without performing the uplink channel transmission.

12 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving a configuration message informing whether to perform the uplink transmission based on the uplink channel transmission symbol and the SS/PBCH reception symbol overlapping.

         13 . A user equipment (UE), comprising:
at least one transceiver; at least one memory; and at least one processor operably connectable to the at least one transceiver and the at least one memory, wherein the at least one memory stores instructions that, based on being executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising: determining whether an uplink channel transmission is performed in a specific slot comprising a plurality of symbols in a time domain based on an uplink channel transmission symbol is overlapped with a synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel (SS/PBCH) reception symbol in the specific slot; and including the specific slot in available slots for the uplink channel transmission based on determining that the uplink channel transmission is to be performed.

         14 - 15 . (canceled)

         16 . A method, comprising:
transmitting, by a base station (BS), to a user equipment (UE) a configuration message informing the UE is to perform an uplink transmission based on the uplink channel transmission symbol of the UE and a synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel (SS/PBCH) transmission symbol of the base station overlapping in a specific time resource; and performing, by the BS, both a reception of the uplink transmission from the UE and a transmission of SS/PBCH in the specific time resource based on the configuration message.

         17 . (canceled)
