Abstract
A cosmetic dispenser includes a one-piece base configured to releasably connect to a lid and a sleeve at least partially disposed in the one-piece base around at least a portion of a cosmetic. An outer surface feature of the sleeve is configured to rotatably interface with an inner surface feature of the one-piece base to move the sleeve between a first position to surround the cosmetic and a second position to expose at least a portion of the cosmetic.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A cosmetic dispenser comprising:
a one-piece base configured to releasably connect to a lid; and a sleeve at least partially disposed in the one-piece base around at least a portion of a cosmetic, wherein an outer surface feature of the sleeve is configured to rotatably interface with an inner surface feature of the one-piece base to move the sleeve between a first position to surround the cosmetic and a second position to expose at least a portion of the cosmetic.
2 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 1 , wherein the sleeve is transparent.
3 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 1 , further comprising a pedestal assembly at least partially disposed in the one-piece base, the pedestal assembly to secure a cosmetic.
4 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 3 , wherein at least a corresponding portion of the pedestal assembly is transparent.
5 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 1 , wherein the inner surface feature is a spiral recess.
6 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 5 , wherein the outer surface feature is at least one engaging component configured to rotatably interface with the spiral recess.
7 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 1 , further comprising a pedestal assembly at least partially received within a cavity formed by the one-piece base, the pedestal assembly comprising a pedestal comprising a base plate at a first distal end of the pedestal and a cup member at a second distal end opposite the first distal end, wherein the cup member is configured to receive a cosmetic that extends above the cup member.
8 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the one-piece base or the sleeve comprises at least one material comprising one or more of a biodegradable material, a recycled material, a recyclable material, an environmentally friendly material, polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA), composites of any of the foregoing, laminates of any of the foregoing, or combinations of any of the foregoing.
9 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 8 , wherein the at least one material is transparent.
10 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the one-piece base or the sleeve comprises a material comprising at least one of a polymer, paper, metal, glass, foam, fabric, composites of any of the foregoing, laminates of any of the foregoing, or combinations of any of the foregoing.
11 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 10 , wherein the material comprises a polymer comprising at least one of an elastomer, an oriented polyester, an un-oriented polyesters a co-polyester, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG), polyethylene furanoate (PEF), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polylactic acid (PLA), a nylon, a polyamide, polyethylene, polypropylene, a cellulose, a cellulosic ester, polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), ionomers, sodium ionomer, zinc ionomer, thermoplastic starch, a polyolefin, a cyclic polyolefin, a linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), a low density polyethylene (LDPE), a high density polyethylene (HDPE), a medium density polyethylene (MDPE), polyoxymethylene (POM), polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), polyetherketone (PEK), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), ethylene acrylic acid (EAA), polyether ether ketone (PEEK), a homopolymer, a copolymer, blends thereof, combinations thereof, laminates thereof, microlayers thereof, nanolayers thereof, or coextrusions thereof.
12 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 10 , wherein the material comprises a paper comprising at least one of a plant material, cardboard, paperboard, pressed paper, wax paper, paper Mache, wood fiber, cellulose, sawdust, hemp, hemp fiber, laminates thereof, composites thereof, or combinations thereof.
13 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 10 , wherein the material comprises a metal comprising at last one of aluminum, tin, stainless steel, ceramics, metal oxides, silica, alumina, alloys thereof, anodized metals thereof, laminates thereof, or combinations thereof.
14 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 13 , wherein the metal is comprised in a mixture with at least one of paper or a polymer, and wherein the mixture is at least one of biodegradable, recyclable, or environmentally friendly.
15 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 10 , wherein the material comprises a glass comprising at least one of strengthened glass, reinforced glass, silica glass, aluminosilicate glass, borosilicate glass, tempered glass, or combinations thereof.
16 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 15 , wherein the glass is comprised in a mixture with at least one of paper, a metal, or a polymer, and wherein the mixture is at least one of biodegradable, recyclable, or environmentally friendly.
17 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 10 , wherein the fabric comprises at least one of woven materials, non-woven materials, cotton, wool, hemp, rayon, polyester, paper and fiber combinations, laminates thereof, or combinations thereof.
18 . A cosmetic dispenser comprising:
a one-piece base comprising an inner surface that forms a spiral recess; and
a sleeve at least partially disposed in the one-piece base around at least a portion of a cosmetic, wherein an outer surface feature of the sleeve is configured to rotatably interface with the spiral recess of the one-piece base to move the sleeve to at least partially expose the cosmetic.
19 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 18 further comprising a lid that is configured to releasably connect to the one-piece base.
20 . The cosmetic dispenser of claim 18 , wherein the sleeve is configured to rotatably interface with the one-piece base to move the sleeve between a first position to surround the cosmetic and a second position to expose at least a portion of the cosmetic.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
