Abstract

A shower device includes a spray head and a brush head assembly removably coupled to the spray head. The brush head assembly at least partially protrudes from the spray head. In some embodiments, the brush head assembly may be used independent from the spray head, and different brush head assemblies may be used based on user preferences. The integration of multiple functions on a shower device improves user conveniences, expands performance, and enhances the shower experience.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A shower device, comprising:
a spray head defining a mounting opening; and a brush head assembly removably coupled to the spray head at the mounting opening, the brush head assembly comprising a massage element protruding from a front side of the spray head, the brush head assembly extending through the spray head and protruding from a back side of the spray head opposite the front side.

2 . The shower device of claim 1 , wherein the brush head assembly comprises a coupler that removably couples the brush head assembly to the spray head.

3 . The shower device of claim 2 , wherein the coupler rotates relative to the spray head to secure the brush head assembly to the spray head.

4 . The shower device of claim 1 , wherein the brush head assembly is inserted into the spray head from the front side of the spray head, the brush head assembly extending through the spray head from the front side to the back side.

5 . The shower device of claim 1 , wherein the mounting opening is a central opening formed in the middle of the spray head.

6 . The shower device of claim 5 , wherein the brush head assembly defines a central spray face portion of the spray head, the massage element extending from the central spray face portion in substantially perpendicular orientation relative to the central spray face portion.

7 . The shower device of claim 6 , wherein the massage element is one of a plurality of massage brush elements extending from the central spray face portion, the massage brush elements together defining a massage brush head.

8 . The shower device of claim 1 , wherein the brush head assembly comprises:
a mechanism sleeve defining a recessed area that faces toward the front side; and a connection sleeve extending from the front side and into the recessed area such that the connection sleeve nests within the mechanism sleeve, the connection sleeve coupled to the massage element.

9 . The shower device of claim 1 , wherein the massage element comprises an anti-rotation element that supports the massage element on the spray head.

10 . The shower device of claim 1 , wherein the spray head is a hand shower that is configured to be movably coupled within a shower enclosure.

         11 . A shower device, comprising:
a spray head defining a mounting opening that extends therethrough from a front side of the spray head to a back side of the spray head; and a brush head configured to be at least partially disposed within the spray head when the brush head is supported within the mounting opening, the brush head including a massage element protruding from the front side of the spray head.

12 . The shower device of claim 11 , wherein the brush head comprises a coupler that removably couples the brush head to the spray head, wherein the coupler is configured to rotate relative to the spray head to secure the brush head to the spray head.

13 . The shower device of claim 11 , wherein the brush head is inserted into the spray head from the front side of the spray head, the brush head extending through the spray head from the front side to the back side.

14 . The shower device of claim 11 , wherein the mounting opening is a central opening formed in the middle of the spray head.

15 . The shower device of claim 11 , wherein the brush head comprises:
a mechanism sleeve defining a recessed area that faces toward the front side; and a connection sleeve extending from the front side and into the recessed area such that the connection sleeve nests within the mechanism sleeve, the connection sleeve coupled to the massage element.

16 . The shower device of claim 15 , wherein the mechanism sleeve and the connection sleeve are both at least partially disposed within the mounting opening.

17 . The shower device of claim 11 , wherein the massage element comprises an anti-rotation element that supports the massage element on the spray head.

         18 . A hand shower, comprising:
a plurality of interchangeable brush heads; and a spray head with a mounting opening that extends through the spray head from a first side of the spray head to a second side of the spray head; wherein a selected one of the interchangeable brush heads is configured to be inserted from the first side of the spray head into the mounting opening to nest the selected brush head within the spray head and so that a message element of the selected brush head protrudes from the first side of the spray head.

19 . The hand shower of claim 18 , wherein the selected brush head is configured to couple to the spray head by rotating a coupler of the selected brush head relative to the spray head.

20 . The hand shower of claim 18 , wherein the selected brush head is configured to be inserted into the mounting opening so that the selected brush head protrudes from the second side of the spray head opposite the first side.
