Single-use container comprising a footstool

Abstract

Described herein is a single-use container, methods of manufacturing a single-use container, and systems including a single-use container. A single-use container may include a sheet including a rim, a sidewall, and a bottom, a lid affixed to the rim, and a footstool including a filter separating a first compartment from a second compartment, wherein the first compartment is encompassed by the lid, a first segment of the sidewall, and the filter, wherein the second compartment is encompassed by the bottom, a second segment of the sidewall, and the filter, and at least a filter support structure positioned between the filter and the bottom.

1 . A single-use container comprising:
 a sheet comprising:
 a rim; 
 a sidewall comprising a plurality of ribs, wherein the plurality of ribs alternates between extending outward and inward from sidewall, wherein the plurality of ribs does not exceed a top or a bottom of the sidewall; and 
 a bottom; 
   a lid affixed to the rim; and   a footstool comprising:
 a filter separating a first compartment from a second compartment, wherein:
 the first compartment is encompassed by the lid, a first segment of the sidewall, and the filter; and 
 the second compartment is encompassed by the bottom, a second segment of the sidewall, and the filter; and 
 
 at least a filter support structure positioned between the filter and the bottom, wherein the at least a filter support structure comprises a corrugated pattern. 
   
     
     
         2 . The single-use container of  claim 1 , wherein the at least a filter support structure comprises a plurality of filter support structures supporting the filter by connecting the filter to the bottom. 
     
     
         3 . The single-use container of  claim 2 , wherein the plurality of filter support structures comprise a plurality of aluminum poles. 
     
     
         4 . The single-use container of  claim 2 , wherein the at least a filter support structure comprises a plurality of filter support structures positioned off-center of the bottom. 
     
     
         5 . The single-use container of  claim 2 , wherein the at least a filter support structure comprises an aluminum screen positioned between the filter and the plurality of filter support structures supporting the filter. 
     
     
         6 . The single-use container of  claim 1 , wherein the filter comprises a paper filter. 
     
     
         7 . The single-use container of  claim 1 , wherein the filter is flush with the sidewall. 
     
     
         8 . The single-use container of  claim 7 , wherein the filter is adhered to the sidewall. 
     
     
         9 . The single-use container of  claim 1 , wherein the filter is flavored. 
     
     
         10 . The single-use container of  claim 1 , wherein the first compartment comprises coffee grounds. 
     
     
         11 . A system comprising:
 a single-use container comprising:
 a sheet comprising:
 a rim; 
 a sidewall comprising a plurality of ribs, wherein the plurality of ribs alternates between extending outward and inward from sidewall, wherein the plurality of ribs does not exceed a top or a bottom of the sidewall; and 
 a bottom; 
 
 a lid affixed to the rim; and 
 a footstool comprising:
 a filter separating a first compartment from a second compartment, wherein the first compartment is encompassed by the lid, a first segment of the sidewall, and the filter, wherein the second compartment is encompassed by the bottom, a second segment of the sidewall, and the filter; and 
 at least a filter support structure positioned between the filter and the bottom, wherein the at least a filter support structure comprises a corrugated pattern; and 
 
   a device configured to:
 puncture, using a first prong, the lid of the single-use container without puncturing the filter; and 
 puncture, using a second prong, the bottom of the single-use container without puncturing the filter and without interfering with the at least a filter support structure. 
   
     
     
         12 . The system of  claim 11 , wherein the at least a filter support structure comprises a plurality of filter support structures supporting the filter by connecting the filter to the bottom. 
     
     
         13 . The system of  claim 12 , wherein the plurality of filter support structures comprise a plurality of aluminum poles. 
     
     
         14 . The system of  claim 12 , wherein the at least a filter support structure comprises a plurality of filter support structures positioned off-center of the bottom. 
     
     
         15 . The system of  claim 12 , wherein the at least a filter support structure comprises an aluminum screen positioned between the filter and the plurality of filter support structures supporting the filter. 
     
     
         16 . The system of  claim 11 , wherein the filter comprises a paper filter. 
     
     
         17 . The system of  claim 11 , wherein the filter is flush with the sidewall. 
     
     
         18 . The system of  claim 16 , wherein the filter is adhered to the sidewall. 
     
     
         19 . The system of  claim 11 , wherein the filter is flavored. 
     
     
         20 . The system of  claim 11 , wherein the first compartment comprises coffee grounds.
