Multi-function seat, bed, lounge, and dinette system for limited-space enclosures
Abstract
An adjustable seat system transformable from a first, bench seat orientation to a second, lay-flat bed orientation, to a third, raised bed orientation, to a lounge orientation there between. The system includes a seat, a seat back, a foot rest with a foot rest cushion, and a bed cushion stored behind the seat back when in the first, bench seat orientation. The foot rest can be independently raised and lowered as desired. When the bed cushion is moved from a stored position to a horizontal position, the seat, seat back, and foot rest elements are moved away from the bed cushion and can be oriented into a horizontal position to form the second, lay-flat bed orientation. A pair of adjustable seat systems can be deployed together and separately and autonomously controlled. The pair of adjustable seat systems can be moved apart and rotated to be oriented about an optional dinette.
