Claims

Abstract

This disclosure describes a diverter assembly, a valve box, and a plunger pump. The diverter assembly includes a diverter, a first valve body, a second valve body, first valve rubber, and second valve rubber. The diverter includes liquid drainage and inlet holes. The liquid drainage hole is communicated with first and second end surfaces facing away from each other in an axial direction of the diverter, and the liquid inlet hole is communicated with a side surface and the first end surface. The first valve body is configured to block the liquid inlet hole and to communicate a communication hole and the liquid drainage hole. The second valve body is configured to block the liquid drainage hole. The first and second valve rubber is configured to hermetically connect the first valve body and the first end surface, and to seal the second valve body and the second end surface, respectively.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A valve box, comprising:
 a fluid cavity for accommodating a valve assembly, the valve assembly comprising:
 two valve bodies movably disposed along an axis of the fluid cavity relative to the valve box; and 
 a fluid diverter fixedly installed relative to the valve box and disposed between the two valve bodies along the axis; 
   at least one first sealing component disposed between the fluid diverter and an inner wall of the fluid cavity for creating an isolated portion of the fluid cavity between the fluid diverter and the inner wall of the fluid cavity that is sealed from the rest of the fluid cavity; and   a first passage disposed through the valve box between a first location of the isolated portion and an outer wall of the valve box.   
     
     
         2 . The valve box of  claim 1 , wherein the valve assembly is configured to operate in an intake stage to draw a fluid from a liquid intake channel of the valve box and an output stage to pressurize the fluid towards an output port of the valve box. 
     
     
         3 . The valve box of  claim 1 , wherein the first location is at a proximity of a sealing component among the at least one first sealing component acting as a boundary of the isolated portion. 
     
     
         4 . The valve box of  claim 1 , further comprising a second passage disposed through the valve box between a second location of the isolated portion and the outer wall of the valve box. 
     
     
         5 . The valve box of  claim 4 , wherein the first location is near a first boundary sealing component among the at least one first sealing component and the second location is near a second boundary sealing component among the at least one first sealing component. 
     
     
         6 . The valve box of  claim 1 , further comprising a second passage internal to the fluid diverter from the first location of the isolated portion to a second location of the isolated portion. 
     
     
         7 . The valve box of  claim 6 , wherein the first location is near a first boundary sealing component among the at least one first sealing component and the second location is near a second boundary sealing component among the at least one first sealing component. 
     
     
         8 . The valve box of  claim 1 , comprising at least one second sealing component for sealing between a liquid intake channel in the valve box and the isolated portion. 
     
     
         9 . The valve box of  claim 8 , wherein the first location is between one of the at least one first sealing component and one of the at least one second sealing component. 
     
     
         10 . The valve box of  claim 9 , further comprising a second passage disposed through the valve box between a second location of the isolated portion and the outer wall of the valve box. 
     
     
         11 . The valve box of  claim 10 , wherein the second location is between another one of the at least one first sealing component and another one of the at least one second sealing component. 
     
     
         12 . The valve box of  claim 9 , further comprising a second passage internal to the fluid diverter from the first location of the isolated portion to a second location of the isolated portion. 
     
     
         13 . The valve box of  claim 12 , wherein the second location is between another one of the at least one first sealing component and another one of the at least one second sealing component. 
     
     
         14 . The valve box of  claim 1 , wherein:
 the fluid diverter comprises one or more liquid inlet holes for fluid intake;   the at least one first sealing component comprises a first sealing ring and a second sealing ring, the first sealing ring and the second sealing ring defining the isolated portion together with the diverter and the inner wall of the fluid cavity;   the valve box comprises a third sealing ring and a fourth sealing ring disposed inside the isolated portion between the fluid diverter and the inner wall of the fluid cavity, the third sealing ring and the fourth sealing ring defining a fluid intake area with the fluid diverter and the inner wall of the fluid cavity, the fluid intake area encompassing the one or more liquid inlet holes;   the sealing rings are arranged along the axis in an order of the first sealing ring, the third sealing ring, the fourth sealing ring, and the second sealing ring; and   the first location is outside of the fluid intake area and between the first sealing ring and the third sealing ring in the isolated portion.   
     
     
         15 . The valve box of  claim 14 , further comprising a second passage internal to the fluid diverter from the first location of the isolated portion to a second location of the isolated portion located between the fourth sealing ring and the second sealing ring. 
     
     
         16 . The valve box of  claim 14 , further comprises a second passage disposed through the valve box between a second location of the isolated portion and the outer wall of the valve box, wherein the second location is between the fourth sealing ring and the second sealing ring. 
     
     
         17 . The valve box of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one first sealing component comprises at least two sealing rings for enclosing the isolated portion and wherein fluid intake ports on the fluid diverter open in the isolated portion. 
     
     
         18 . The valve box of  claim 17 , wherein the at least two sealing rings separates a low pressure fluid region and a high pressure fluid region in the valve box. 
     
     
         19 . A hydraulic end of a pump, comprising:
 the valve box of  claim 1 ; and   a plunger disposed in the fluid cavity.   
     
     
         20 . A pump, comprising:
 a hydraulic end comprising the valve box of  claim 1  and a plunger disposed in the fluid cavity; and   a power end connected to the plunger for reciprocally driving the plunger in the fluid cavity.
