Cooking apparatus
Abstract
A cooking apparatus includes a housing, a heat source on one side of the housing, a control panel couplable to the housing, a knob rotatably mountable on the control panel to operate the heat source and movable rearwardly, a stopper between the control panel and the knob and including an anti-rotation portion configured to prevent a rotation of the knob, a button movably couplable to the knob in a left-to-right direction, and a locking pin accommodated in the anti-rotation portion and secured to the button so as to move along the button. The locking pin is deviated from the anti-rotation portion based on movement of the button, the knob is rotatable while the knob is moved rearwardly and the locking pin is deviated from the anti-rotation portion, and the knob is rotated to operate the heat source.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A cooking apparatus comprising:
a housing including a cooking chamber, the cooking chamber including a heater; a cooktop disposed at an upper side of the housing, the cooktop including a heating part; and at least one knob assembly disposed on a front side of the housing for operating the heating part of the cooktop or the heater of the cooking chamber, wherein the at least one knob assembly comprises:
a knob configured to operate be rotatable from an off position to an on position and configured to be movable between a first knob position and a second knob position, the first knob position being a position in which a rotation is prevented at the off position and a second knob position being a position in which a rotation is enabled by being pressed from the first knob position toward the front side of the housing, the knob comprising:
a base, and
a handle protruding from the base such that the handle is disposed vertically when the knob is in the off position;
a button coupled to one side of the handle and configured to be pressable; a stopper including an anti-movement portion that is configured to prevent the knob from moving to the second knob position; and a locking pin configured to be moveable from a first pin position to a second pin position deviated from the first pin position, the first pin position corresponding to the anti-movement portion of the stopper, wherein, based on the button being pressed, the locking pin moves from the first pin position to the second pin position such that the knob is enabled to move from the first knob position to the second knob position.
2 . The cooking apparatus of claim 1 , wherein
the knob further comprises a receiving space configured to receive the button therein, wherein the button comprises: a pressing portion exposed from the receiving space; and a guide portion extending from a rear end of the pressing portion, and wherein the locking pin protrudes toward a front surface of the housing from the guide portion.
3 . The cooking apparatus of claim 2 ,
wherein the guide portion comprises a guide groove formed to guide a movement of the knob.
4 . The cooking apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising:
a shaft rotatable with respect to the housing according to a rotation of the knob; and wherein the locking pin moves toward the shaft based on the button being pressed.
5 . The cooking apparatus of claim 1 , wherein
the locking pin is extended rearward from the button so as to move together with the button.
6 . The cooking apparatus of claim 1 ,
wherein the button comprises a spring configured to be compressed as the button moves with respect to the knob based on the button being pressed.
7 . The cooking apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a weight disposed at a rear side of the knob,
wherein the weight comprises a guide hole to guide a movement of the locking pin.
8 . The cooking apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising:
a shaft rotatable with respect to the housing according to a rotation of the knob; and a weight disposed at a rear side of the button, wherein the weight comprises a shaft receiving portion through which the shaft passes.
9 . A cooking apparatus comprising:
a housing including a cooking chamber, the cooking chamber including a heater; a cooktop disposed at an upper side of the housing, the cooktop including a heating part; and at least one knob assembly disposed on a front side of the housing, for operating the heating part of the cooktop or the heater of the cooking chamber, wherein the at least one knob assembly comprises:
a knob configured to operate the heating part of the cooktop or the heater of the cooking chamber by rotating, the knob being movable between a first knob position in which a rotation is prevented and a second knob position in which a rotation is enabled by being pressed from the first knob position toward the front side of the housing, the knob comprising:
a base, and
an elongated handle protruding from the base;
a button coupled to one side of the elongated handle and configured to be pressable; a locking pin configured to move between a first pin position and a second pin position deviated from the first pin position; and a stopper having an anti-movement portion corresponding to the locking pin in a first position; and wherein the knob is prevented from moving to the second knob position based on the locking pin being in the first pin position and,
wherein based on the button being pressed, the knob is enabled to move from the first knob position to the second knob position, according to the locking pin moves from the first pin position to the second pin position.
10 . The cooking apparatus of claim 9 , wherein the locking pin is disposed on a rear side of the button so as to move together with the button.
11 . The cooking apparatus of claim 9 , wherein
the at least one knob assembly further comprises a weight disposed at a rear side of the knob, and the weight comprises a guide hole to guide a movement of the locking pin.
12 . The cooking apparatus of claim 9 , further comprising:
a rotatable shaft coupled to the at least one knob assembly; and wherein the locking pin moves toward the rotatable shaft based on the button being pressed.
13 . The cooking apparatus of claim 9 , wherein the elongated handle having an opening disposed on the one side of the elongated handle such that the button is exposed through the opening.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
