Prostaglandin dehydrogenase inhibiting agents

Abstract

Novel prostaglandin dehydrogenase inhibiting agents having the structural formula <IMAGE> <IMAGE> M is H or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, X is hydrogen, dialkylaminomethyl, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, aryl, substituted aryl, halogen, cyano, nitro, trihaloalkyl, -NR1R2 or -NHCOR1 where R1 and R2 are hydrogen, lower alkyl or NH2 and n is 0-5.

We claim: 
     
       1. Compounds having the structural formula ##STR37## wherein M is H or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt; and X is selected from the group consisting of H, halogen, NO 2 , lower alkyl and amino, and n is 0-5. 
     
     
       2. A compound having the structural formula ##STR38## wherein M is H or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt.
