Derivatives of cyclopropane

Abstract

Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein A is oxygen or --NH--, and R is straight or branched alkyl of 2 to 22 carbon atoms or straight or branched alkenyl of 3 to 18 carbon atoms, And acid addition salts thereof; the compounds as well as the salts are useful as acaricides.

We claim: 
     
       1. A compound of the formula ##STR6## wherein A is oxygen or --NH--, and R is alkyl of 3 to 22 carbon atoms when A is oxygen, or alkyl of 2 to 22 carbon atoms when A is --NH--, or alkenyl of 3 to 18 carbon atoms, or an acid addition salt thereof.     
     
     
       2. A compound of claim 1, where A is oxygen and R is oleyl. 
     
     
       3. A compound of claim 1, where A is oxygen and R is n-butyl. 
     
     
       4. A compound of claim 1, where A is oxygen and R is hexadecyl.
