Abstract

N-(1,1-dioxotetrahydro-3-thienyl)-2,6-dialkylmorpholines, useful as catalysts in making polyurethane foam.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

       1. A compound of the formula ##STR3## wherein R 1 and R 2 are alkyl radicals having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.

       2. A compound as in claim 1 in which R 1 and R 2 are methyl.

       3. In a method of making a polyurethane foam wherein a polyurethane-forming long chain polyol and a polyurethane-forming organic polyisocyanate are reacted in the presence of a catalyst and a blowing agent for the polyurethane foam, the improvement comprising using as the catalyst, at least in part, an effective amount of a compound of the formula ##STR4## wherein R 1 and R 2 are alkyl radicals having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.

       4. A method as in claim 3, in which R 1 and R 2 are methyl.
