Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWe claim:
1. A method of treating inflammation in warm-blooded animals comprising the topical administration to said animal of an effective amount of a pharmaceutically-active compound of the formula: ##STR6## where: R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 6 , R 7 , R 8 , R 9 and R 10 may be the same or different and are: hydrogen, alkyl, cyano, nitro, amino, haloloweralkoxy, haloloweralkyl, halo, loweralkoxy and hydroxy.
2. The method of topically treating inflammation according to claim 1 where the compound administered is α-phenyl-N-p-chlorophenylnitrone.
3. The method of topically treating inflammation according to claim 1 where the compound administered is α-4-biphenyl-N-4-chlorophenylnitrone.
