Abstract
In a moving-coil type pickup cartridge, a vibrating system including an armature wound with a coil is disposed at an open end area of a magnet with a damper being interposed between the armature and the magnet, and the armature is placed directly under the influence of magnetic flux produced between the one and other ends of the magnet for generating a voltage without using any yoke.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWe claim as our invention:
1. A moving-coil type pickup cartridge comprising: a vibrating system including a cantilever having a stylus fixed thereto at one end and a coil-wound armature fixed thereto at its other end; a suspension holder comprising a magnet a suspension wire, fixed at one end to said cantilever and at the other end to said suspension holder; said magnet maintaining a flux path originating at one end thereof and passing about the exterior of said magnet to the other end thereof, said vibrating system being disposed at said one end of said magnet and having said armature disposed within said flux path, a first damper interposed between said armature and said magnet within said flux path and a second damper associated with said vibrating system disposed in said flux path on said cantilever between said armature and said stylus free of contact with any part other than of said vibrating system.
2. A moving-coil type pickup cartridge as set forth in claim 1 in which said second damper is inserted with said cantilever.
3. A moving-coil type pickup cartridge as set forth in claim 1 in which said second damper is fixed to said armature.
4. A moving-coil type pickup cartridge as set forth in claim 1 in which said second damper is interposed between a fixed end portion of the cartridge per se and said cantilever.
5. A moving-coil type pickup cartridge as set forth in claim 4 in which said second damper is disposed such that it is in contact with said cantilever at its antinode of the vibration thereof.
6. A moving-coil type pickup cartridge as set forth in claim 4 in which said second damper is made of visco-elastic material.
7. A moving-coil type pickup cartridge as set forth in claim 6 in which said visco-elastic material is butyl rubber.
8. A moving-coil type pickup cartridge as set forth in claim 6 in which said visco-elastic material is silicon rubber.
9. A moving-coil type pickup cartridge as set forth in claim 4 in which said second damper is in contact at its tip end with a desired position of said cantilever in its lengthwise direction.
10. A moving-coil type pickup cartridge as set forth in claim 1 in which said second damper is of a plate-shape.
11. A moving-coil type pickup cartridge as set forth in claim 1 in which said second damper is formed as a plate-shape disc.
12. A moving-coil type pickup cartridge as set forth in claim 1 in which said second damper is formed as a square-shape plate.
13. A moving-coil type pickup cartridge as set forth in claim 1 in which said second damper is formed to have a concave portion which surrounds said armature.
14. A moving-coil type pickup cartridge as set forth in claim 1 in which said second damper is cut at its one end surface to form a cut surface.
15. A moving-coil type pickup cartridge as set forth in claim 1 in which said second damper is so formed as to damp a high frequency range of said cantilever in said vibrating system.Cited by (0)
