Abstract
Described herein are circuit board substrates prepared from certain poly(aryl ethers) based on 4,4'-dichlorodiphenyl sulfone.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1. The poly(aryl ethers) of the formula --O--E--O--E'-- wherein E is from about 5 to about 95 mole percent of the residuum derived from ##STR6## and about 5 to 95 mole percent of the residua derived from at least one diphenol compound selected from the group consisting of 4,4'-biphenol and bisphenol-A and wherein E' is the residuum of 4,4'-dichlorodiphenyl sulfone.
2. The poly(aryl ethers) of claim 1 wherein E comprises about 20 to about 80 mole percent of the residuum of 4,4'-biphenol.
3. The poly(aryl ethers) of claim 1 wherein E comprises about 20 to about 80 mole percent of the residuum of bisphenol-A.
4. The poly(aryl ethers) of claim 1 wherein E comprises about 20 to about 80 mole percent of the residua of bisphenol-A and 4,4'-biphenol.Cited by (0)
