Abstract

The present invention relates to a useful antihepatopathic composition comprising a compound of the formula: ##STR1## (wherein the R groups are the same or different and each means a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient.

       1. A method for the treatment of hepatopathy which comprises administering to a human in need of such treatment an anti-hepatopathy effective amount of a compound of the formula: ##STR3## wherein the R groups are the same or different and each means a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient.
