Abstract

Block copolymers of the formula ##STR1## wherein R 1 , R 2 , and R 3 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl and aryl; k, j, m and n represent the number of repeating segments, and imaging members thereof.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

       1. A process for the preparation of the block copolymers which comprises melting by heating a bisphenol, a diaryl carbonate, and a silanol terminated polydiphenyl siloxane; adding a catalyst; heating the stirred mixture while applying a vacuum; cooling; and removing the polymer product from the reactor.

       2. A process for the preparation of the copolymers which comprises melting by heating a bisphenol, a diaryl carbonate, and a silanol terminated polydiphenyl siloxane in the presence of a catalyst, cooling the reaction mixture, and thereafter separating the copolymer product therefrom.
