Abstract
A method of properly correcting a base line. A concept of flexibility of a base line is introduced as an input index and a gravitation is presumed between the base line and signal data which is measured, thereby constructing a method of correcting the base line which changes gentler than a change in signal with respect to time in a peak area and which is sensitive to an area where a value of the signal data is small. A base line like a natural and smooth curve which isn't easily influenced by a local change in signal such as noise or the like can be set by an input of the flexibility.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1. A data processing apparatus for a chromatograph comprising: means for detecting output values of a measuring target sample which is obtained within a time zone, and for forming a chromatogram having plurality of data points representing signal intensities at various times within said time zone on the basis of said detected output values, and a base line forming means for forming a base line having plurality of forming points each at a time within said time zone corresponding to one of said data points, said forming means forming the base line such that: each of said forming points is disposed so as to be closer to a corresponding data point when the signal intensity of said data point is smaller, and neighboring forming points are disposed so as to be closer to each other in a direction of said signal intensity, when a difference in said direction between one said forming points and another adjacent one of said forming point is larger.
2. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the extent to which each of said forming points is closer to a corresponding data point is set arbitrarily.
3. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said output values are obtained by using a straight line connecting base lines before and after the time zone in which a peak of said measuring target appears.
4. A data processing apparatus for a chromatograph comprising: means for detecting output values of a measuring target sample which is obtained within a time zone, and for forming a chromatogram having a plurality of data points representing signal intensities at various times within said time zone on the basis of said detected output intensities, said signal values measured with reference to a standard base line, and a base line forming means for forming a base line having plurality of forming points each at a time within said time zone corresponding to one of said data points, said forming means forming the base line such that: each of said forming points is disposed so as to be closer to a corresponding data point when the signal intensity of said data point is smaller, and neighboring forming points are disposed so as to be closer to each other in a direction of said signal intensity, when a difference in said direction between one said forming points and another adjacent one of said forming point is larger.
5. An apparatus according to claim 4, wherein the extent to which each of said forming points is closer to a corresponding data point is set arbitrarily.
6. An apparatus according to claim 4, wherein the extent to which adjacent forming points are closer each other is set arbitrarily.
7. An apparatus according to claim 4, wherein a standard base line is obtained as a straight line connecting a starting point and an ending point of a time zone in which a peak of said chromatogram appears.Cited by (0)
