Dubbing apparatus

Abstract

A dubbing system in which information including lyrics, title, image of a piece of music is printed while audio data representing the piece of music distributed from an information center or supplied from a mass storage device installed in the dubbing system is recorded onto a recording medium.

What is claimed is:  
     
       1. An audio dubbing system for dubbing on a recording medium an audio program selected from a memory storing a plurality of compressed audio programs, comprising: 
       recording means for recording said audio program selected from said memory on said recording medium;  
       receiving means for receiving associated information about said selected audio program;  
       printing means for printing said associated information received by said receiving means;  
       image taking means; and  
       image editing means for performing an image editing operation based on image information taken by said image taking means and said associated information about said selected program, wherein edited image information output from said image editing means is printed by said printing means.  
     
     
       2. The audio dubbing system as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said associated information about said selected audio program is stored in said memory. 
     
     
       3. The audio dubbing system as claimed in  claim 1 , further comprising: 
       a second recording medium for recording said associated information about said selected audio program; and  
       reproducing means for reproducing said second recording medium, wherein said reproducing means is connected to said receiving means.  
     
     
       4. The audio dubbing system as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said associated information about said selected audio program is supplied through a communication network. 
     
     
       5. The audio dubbing system as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said associated information about said selected audio program includes title information of said selected audio program recorded on said recording medium and image information about a creator of said selected audio program recorded on said recording medium. 
     
     
       6. The audio system as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein a sheet on which said edited image information output from said image editing means is printed by said printing means is composed of a peelable mount and a label printable on at least one side thereof. 
     
     
       7. The audio dubbing system as claimed in  claim 6 , wherein said label is formed to fit on a label attaching area of a casing of said recording medium. 
     
     
       8. The audio dubbing system as claimed in  claim 6 , wherein said label is formed to fit on a label attaching area of said recording medium.
