Abstract
Tumor necrosis factor receptor proteins, DNAs and expression vectors encoding TNF receptors, and processes for producing TNF receptors as products of recombinant cell culture, are disclosed.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWe claim:
1. A method of suppressing a TNF-dependent inflammatory response in a mammal comprising administering an effective amount of recombinant tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) to a mammal afflicted with said inflammatory response, wherein said recombinant TNFR comprises amino acids 1-163 of SEQ ID NO:2.
2. The method of claim 1 , wherein said recombinant TNFR consists essentially of amino acids 1-163 of SEQ ID NO:2.
3. The method of claim 2 , wherein said recombinant TNFR comprises amino acids 1-185 of SEQ ID NO:2.
4. The method of claim 3 , wherein said recombinant TNFR comprises amino acids 1-235 of SEQ ID NO:2.
5. A method of suppressing a TNF-dependent inflammatory response in a mammal comprising administering an effective amount of tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) to a mammal afflicted with said inflammatory response, wherein said TNFR comprises amino acids 1-163 of SEQ ID NO:2.
6. The method of claim 5 , wherein said TNFR consists essentially of amino acids 1-163 of SEQ ID NO:2.
7. The method of claim 6 , wherein said TNFR comprises amino acids 1-185 of SEQ ID NO:2.
8. The method of claim 7 , wherein said TNFR comprises amino acids 1-235 of SEQ ID NO:2.Cited by (0)
