Abstract
A detoxification method includes immersing at least a portion of a patient's body within a reservoir filled with water; generating ions within the water; and simultaneously with the generating ions, irradiating a predetermined area of the therapy subject with light generated by a cold laser. The generated light may be irradiated to the patient as either a continuous beam or a pulsed beam. The ions generated within the water may be positive, negative, or combinations thereof. Further, the light may be irradiated as long as the ions are being generated.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1. A detoxification method, comprising:
contacting at least a portion of a therapy subject with water;
generating ions within the water for a predetermined period of time; and
irradiating the therapy subject with substantially coherent light during the predetermined period of time.
2. The detoxification method according to claim 1 , wherein the irradiating comprises irradiating substantially simultaneously during the generating.
3. The detoxification method according to claim 1 , wherein a wavelength of the substantially coherent light is between about 630 nm and 640 nm.
4. The detoxification method according to claim 3 , wherein the wavelength of the substantially coherent light is about 635 nm.
5. The detoxification method according to claim 1 , wherein a power of the substantially coherent light is up to about 5 mW.
6. The detoxification method according to claim 1 , wherein the generating ions comprises generating positive ions.
7. The detoxification method according to claim 1 , wherein the generating ions comprises generating negative ions.
8. The detoxification method according to claim 1 , wherein the generating ions comprises sequentially generating positive and negative ions.
9. The detoxification method according to claim 1 , wherein the generating ions comprises simultaneously generating positive and negative ions.
10. The detoxification method according to claim 1 , wherein the predetermined amount of time comprises about 30 minutes.
11. The detoxification method according to claim 1 , further comprising containing the water within a reservoir.
12. The detoxification method according to claim 11 , wherein the reservoir is made of a transparent material.
13. The detoxification method according to claim 1 , wherein the generating ions comprises:
providing an electrode array within the water; and
applying a low voltage direct current to the electrode array.
14. The detoxification method according to claim 13 , wherein the low voltage direct current has a current of about 2.45 amps and a voltage of about 19 volts.
15. The detoxification method according to claim 1 , wherein the substantially coherent light is continuous light.
16. The detoxification method according to claim 1 , wherein the substantially coherent light is pulsed light.
17. A detoxification method, comprising:
immersing at least a portion of a therapy subject within a body of water;
generating ions within the body of water; and
simultaneously with the generating ions, irradiating a predetermined area of the therapy subject with laser light.
18. The detoxification method according to claim 17 , wherein the predetermined area corresponds to meridian points of the therapy subject.
19. The detoxification method according to claim 17 , wherein the irradiating comprises irradiating through the body of water.
20. The detoxification method according to claim 17 , wherein the irradiating comprises directly irradiating the therapy subject.Cited by (0)
