Abstract
HUTUDO1 polypeptides and polynucleotides and methods for producing such polypeptides by recombinant techniques are disclosed. Also disclosed are methods utilizing HUTUDO1 polypeptides and polynucleotides in diagnostic assays.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1. An isolated polypeptide selected from the group consisting of:
(a) a polypeptide encoded by a polynucleotide comprising the sequence of SEQ ID NO:1;
(b) a polypeptide comprising a polypeptide sequence having at least 95% identity along its entire length to the polypeptide sequence of SEQ ID NO:2;
(c) a polypeptide comprising a polypeptide sequence which is encoded by a polynucleotide which hybridizes to the complete complement of SEQ ID NO:1 under stringent hybridization conditions comprising overnight incubation at 42° C. in a solution comprising 50% formamide, 5×SSC (150 mM NaCl, 15 mM trisodium citrate), 50 mM sodium phosphate (pH7.6), 5×Denhardt's solution, 10% dextran sulphate, and 20 microgram/ml denatured, sheared salmon sperm DNA; followed by washing the filters in 0.1×SSC at 65° C.; and
(d) the polypeptide sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 wherein each polypeptide of (a)–(d) possesses N-terminal acetyltransferase activity.
2. The isolated polypeptide of claim 1 comprising the polypeptide sequence of SEQ ID NO:2.
3. The isolated polypeptide of claim 1 which consists of the polypeptide sequence of SEQ ID NO:2.
4. A fusion protein comprising an Immunoglobulin Fc-region and a polypeptide of claim 1 .
5. An isolated polypeptide which comprises a polypeptide sequence which is encoded by a polynucleotide which hybridizes to the complete complement of SEQ ID NO:1 under stringent hybridization conditions comprising overnight incubation at 42° C. in a solution comprising 50% formamide, 5×SSC (150 mM NaCl, 15 mM trisodium citrate), 50 mM sodium phosphate (pH7.6), 5×Denhardt's solution, 10% dextran sulphate, and 20 microgram/ml denatured, sheared salmon sperm DNA; followed by washing the filters in 0.1×SSC at 65° C.; wherein said polypeptide possesses N-terminal acetyltransferase activity.
6. An isolated polypeptide which consists of a polypeptide of amino acids 1–272 of SEQ ID NO:2.
7. An isolated polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:2, or a fragment thereof, wherein said fragment possesses N-terminal acetyltransferase activity.
8. An isolated polypeptide comprising a polypeptide sequence having at least 95% identity along its entire length to the polypeptide sequence of SEQ ID NO:2, wherein said polypeptide possesses N-terminal acetyltransferase activity.Cited by (0)
