Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1. A method for controlling frizz in scalp hair comprising:
applying to scalp hair a composition comprising a compound having the following formula:
wherein n is 3
wherein the method does not employ a free radical initiator, a polymerization initiator or a polymerization catalyst.
2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the composition is in the form of a cream, an alcohol-containing spray, a gel, an aerosol spray, or a pomade.
3. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the composition comprises an emulsifier, an emollient, a humectant and a viscosity modifier.
4. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the method does not have a rinsing step.
5. A method according to claim 1 , wherein the composition is a cream.
6. A method according to claim 1 , wherein the composition is a styling spray.
7. A method for controlling frizz in scalp hair comprising:
applying to scalp hair a composition comprising a compound according to claim 1 to control frizz at a level sufficient to afford at least about 4% moisture resistance.
8. The method according to claim 7 , wherein said composition affords no more than about 15% gain in weight when subjected to Starch Test 1.
9. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the composition is in the form of a shampoo.
10. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the composition is in the form of a conditioner.Cited by (0)
