Abstract
The invention relates to Staphylococcus epidermidis peptides, antibodies and nucleic acids that can inhibit Staphylococcus epidermidis infection of a mammalian subject and colonization of a medical device in the mammal.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1. An isolated Staphylococcus epidermidis SdrF peptide consisting of any of SEQ ID NOs: 3-9, or 31.
2. A composition comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and the peptide of claim 1 .

A method of treating or inhibiting Staphylococcus epidermidis infection in a mammal comprising administering to the mammal a composition comprising an isolated Staphylococcus epidermidis SdrF peptide consisting of any of SEQ ID NO:3-9, 31, or a combination thereof to thereby treat or inhibit Staphylococcus epidermidis infection in a mammal.
4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the method inhibits Staphylococcus epidermidis colonization of a medical device in the mammal.
5. A composition comprising an isolated Staphylococcus epidermidis SdrF peptide consisting of any of SEQ ID NOS:3-9, 31, or a combination thereof.Cited by (0)
