Abstract

Provided is a curtain bag which can be brought into an inflated state as required in a short time without locally applying an excessive load to its outer peripheral joint part ( 1 ) and inner joint parts ( 2 ). The dot-like inner joint parts ( 2 ) on the inside of the outer peripheral joint part ( 1 ) are isolated from the outer peripheral joint part ( 1 ) and also made to be independent of each other.

The invention claimed is: 
     
       1. A curtain bag comprising at least two pieces of cloth joined to each other at an outer peripheral joint part provided at an outer peripheral edge thereof and at a plurality of inner dot joint parts provided inside the outer peripheral joint part, characterized in that the plurality of inner dot joint parts are arranged dispersedly across the entire region of the curtain bag, and provided to be independent of the outer peripheral joint part and independent of one another, and provided more densely in a region, which comes into contact with a pillar portion of an automobile at the time of inflation, than in other regions.
