Abstract

This disclosure provides an image capturing optical lens assembly including, in order from an object side to an image side: a first lens element with refractive power having an object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof; a second lens element having positive refractive power; a third lens element with refractive power having an image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof; a fourth lens element with refractive power having an image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof, wherein both surfaces thereof being aspheric; a fifth lens element with refractive power having an object-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof; and a sixth lens element with refractive power having an image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof, wherein both surfaces thereof being aspheric, and the image-side surface having at least one convex shape in an off-axis region thereof.

What is claimed is: 
     
       1. An image capturing optical lens assembly, comprising, in order from an object side to an image side:
 a first lens element having an object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof; 
 a second lens element having positive refractive power; 
 a third lens element having an image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof; 
 a fourth lens element having an image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof, wherein an object-side surface and the image-side surface thereof being aspheric; 
 a fifth lens element having an object-side surface being concave in a paraxial region; and 
 a sixth lens element having an image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof, wherein an object-side surface and the image-side surface thereof being aspheric, and the image-side surface having at least one convex shape in an off-axis region thereof; 
 wherein the image capturing optical lens assembly has a total of six lens elements and further comprises a stop between an imaged object and the third lens element; 
 wherein a focal length of the image capturing optical lens assembly is f, a focal length of the fifth lens element is f5, a focal length of the sixth lens element is f6, a focal length of the second lens element is f2, a focal length of the third lens element is f3, a curvature radius of the object-side surface of the first lens element is R1, and the following conditions are satisfied:
   1.50<| f/f 5|+| f/f 6|; 
   2.20<| f/f 2|+| f/f 3|; and 
   | R 1/ f|< 1.50. 
 
 
     
     
       2. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the third lens element has negative refractive power. 
     
     
       3. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 2 , wherein the second lens element has an object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof. 
     
     
       4. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 3 , wherein a central thickness of the second lens element is CT2, an axial distance between the first lens element and the second lens element is T12, an axial distance between the second lens element and the third lens element is T23, and the following condition is satisfied:
   2.4< CT 2/( T 12+ T 23)<5.0. 
 
     
     
       5. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 3  satisfying the following condition:
   2.50<| f/f 5|+| f/f 6|<5.0. 
 
     
     
       6. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 3 , wherein the fifth lens element has positive refractive power, the sixth lens element has negative refractive power, a curvature radius of the object-side surface of the second lens element is R3, and the following condition is satisfied:
   1.40< f/R 3. 
 
     
     
       7. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 1 , wherein a curvature radius of the image-side surface of the sixth lens element is R12, and the following condition is satisfied:
   0< R 12/ f< 0.40. 
 
     
     
       8. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 1 , wherein an object-side surface and the image-side surface of the third lens element are both aspheric, and the object-side surface of the third lens element has at least one inflection point. 
     
     
       9. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 1  satisfying the following condition:
   | R 1/ f|< 0.75. 
 
     
     
       10. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 1 , wherein an Abbe number of the fifth lens element is V5, an Abbe number of the third lens element is V3, an Abbe number of the fourth lens element is V4, and the following condition is satisfied:
   1.0< V 5/( V 3+ V 4)<1.5. 
 
     
     
       11. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 1 , wherein an f-number of the image capturing optical lens assembly is Fno, and the following condition is satisfied:
   1.6< Fno< 2.5. 
 
     
     
       12. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 11 , wherein the first lens element has negative refractive power. 
     
     
       13. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 11 , wherein a central thickness of the first lens element is CT1, a distance in parallel with an optical axis from an axial vertex on an image-side surface of the first lens element to a maximum effective radius position on the image-side surface of the first lens element is Sag12, and the following condition is satisfied:
     CT 1/| Sag 12|<2.5. 
 
     
     
       14. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 11 , wherein the object-side surface of the third lens element is concave in a paraxial region thereof, and the object-side surface of the fourth lens element is convex in a paraxial region thereof. 
     
     
       15. An image capturing device, comprising:
 the image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 1 ; and 
 an image sensor, wherein the image sensor is disposed  on  the image surface of the image capturing optical lens assembly. 
 
     
     
       16. An electronic device, comprising:
 the image capturing device of  claim 15 . 
 
     
     
       17. An image capturing optical lens assembly, comprising, in order from an object side to an image side:
 a first lens element with negative refractive power having an object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof and an image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof; 
 a second lens element having positive refractive power; 
 a third lens element with negative refractive power having an image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof; 
 a fourth lens element having an object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region and an image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof, both of the object-side surface and the image-side surface of the fourth lens element being aspheric; 
 a fifth lens element; and 
 a sixth lens element having an image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof, wherein an object-side surface and the image-side surface thereof being aspheric, and the image-side surface thereof having at least one convex shape in an off-axis region thereof 
 wherein the image capturing optical lens assembly has a total of six lens elements and further comprises a stop between an imaged object and the third lens element; 
 wherein a focal length of the image capturing optical lens assembly is f, a focal length of the second lens element is f2, a focal length of the third lens element is f3, a focal length of the fifth lens element is f5, a focal length of the sixth lens element is f6, a curvature radius of the object-side surface of the first lens element is R1, and the following conditions are satisfied:
   1.50<| f/f 5|+| f/f 6|; 
   | R 1/ f|< 1.50; and 
   2.20<| f/f 2|+| f/f 3|. 
 
 
     
     
       18. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 17 , wherein a central thickness of the fifth lens element is CT5, a central thickness of the sixth lens element is CT6, and the following condition is satisfied:
   0.80< CT 5/ CT 6. 
 
     
     
       19. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 17  satisfying the following condition:
   | R 1/ f|< 0.75. 
 
     
     
       20. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 19 , wherein an f-number of the image capturing optical lens assembly is Fno, and the following condition is satisfied:
   1.6< Fno< 2.5. 
 
     
     
       21. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 19 , wherein the fifth lens element with positive refractive power has an object-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof and an image-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof, and the sixth lens element has negative refractive power. 
     
     
       22. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 17 , wherein the image-side surface of the fourth lens element has at least one convex shape in an off-axis region thereof. 
     
     
       23. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 17 , wherein the third lens element has an object-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof. 
     
     
       24. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 17 , wherein a central thickness of the first lens element is CT1, a distance in parallel with an optical axis from an axial vertex on the image-side surface of the first lens element to a maximum effective radius position on the image-side surface of the first lens element is Sag12, and the following condition is satisfied:
     CT 1/| Sag 12|<2.5. 
 
     
     
       25. An image capturing device, comprising;
 the image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 17 ; and 
 an image sensor, wherein the image sensor is disposed on the image surface of the image capturing optical lens assembly. 
 
     
     
       26. An electronic device, comprising;
 the image capturing device of  claim 25 . 
 
     
     
       27. An image capturing optical lens assembly, comprising, in order from an object side to an image side:
 a first lens element with positive refractive power having an object-side surface being convex in a paraxial region thereof; 
 a second lens element having positive refractive power; 
 a third lens element; 
 a fourth lens element having an image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof, wherein an object-side surface and the image-side surface thereof being aspheric; 
 a fifth lens element having an object-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof; and 
 a sixth lens element having an image-side surface being concave in a paraxial region thereof, wherein an object-side surface and the image-side surface thereof being aspheric, and the image-side surface having at least one convex shape in an off-axis region thereof; 
 wherein the image capturing optical lens assembly has a total of six lens elements and further comprises a stop between an imaged object and the third lens element; 
 wherein a focal length of the image capturing optical lens assembly is f, a focal length of the second lens element is f2, a focal length of the third lens element is f3, and the following condition is satisfied:
   2.20<| f/f 2|+| f/f 3|. 
 
 
     
     
       28. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 27 , wherein a central thickness of the first lens element is CT1, a distance in parallel with an optical axis from an axial vertex on an image-side surface of the first lens element to a maximum effective radius position on the image-side surface of the first lens element is Sag12, and the following condition is satisfied:
     CT 1/| Sag 12|<2.5. 
 
     
     
       29. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 27 , wherein a curvature radius of the image-side surface of the sixth lens element is R12, and the following condition is satisfied:
   0< R 12/ f< 0.40. 
 
     
     
       30. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 27 , wherein an Abbe number of the fifth lens element is V5, an Abbe number of the third lens element is V3, an Abbe number of the fourth lens element is V4, and the following condition is satisfied:
   1.0< V 5/( V 3+ V 4)<1.5. 
 
     
     
       31. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 27 , wherein the fifth lens element has positive refractive power, and the sixth lens element has negative refractive power. 
     
     
       32. The image capturing optical lens assembly of  claim 27 , wherein a curvature radius of an object-side surface of the second lens element is R3, and the following condition is satisfied:
   1.40< f/R 3.
