The present invention provides murine monoclonal antibody molecules that bind to Merkel cell carcinoma (MCV) polypeptides.

       1. An isolated or substantially purified murine monoclonal antibody molecule that binds selectively to a polypeptide consisting essentially of an amino acid sequence selected from the group of sequences consisting of SEQ ID NOs: 12 and 14.
