Abstract

This invention relates to 5-substituted isoindoline compounds, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts, solvates, stereoisomers, and prodrugs thereof. Methods of use, and pharmaceutical compositions of these compounds are disclosed.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

       1. A method of treating or managing a disease or disorder which comprises administering to a patient in need of such treatment or management a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of formula (I):

         or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate, or stereoisomer thereof, wherein:
 X is CH 2  or C═O;
 Z is: (CH 2 ) m , wherein m is 0 or 1; or NH;
 R 1 is halogen or (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, itself optionally substituted with one or more halogen; and
 R 2 is hydrogen; halogen; or (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, itself optionally substituted with one or more halogen; and
 wherein the disease or disorder is cancer or a disorder associated with angiogenesis.

       2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the disease or disorder is cancer.
